maybe we should start our own Nepal Football Fan Club US....we can email them about puting a "chapter" in the US. I'm sure they would give us free memberships. Hell, someone can even make a website. Wallace Jackson can be our honarary president.
He might want to instruct his defenders on what it means to guard the post on a set piece. I'm not sure what the guy closer to the camera is doing. Any chance babelfish will add a Nepali to English option so we can follow Wallace's career more closely and learn the bizzare soccer idioms of yet another language?
Re: photo Darn, Ismitje, you beat me to it!!! Perhaps he is trying to avoid giving up any more corners? Do they play by the old USISL rule where the team with the most corners in a game gets and extra point in the standings? (I'm not kidding, for those of you who don't remember the year of the wacked out experiments in the USISL.)

The Birthday Cup? I think this is a special tournament that provides a birthday party for people who apparently don't have their own birthday.
Galaxy Club. Hmm. It would be nice for the Galaxy to have a farm club in Nepal... we wouldn't even have to rename it. Sigi, sign Surendra Tamang now!
Man... Katmandu Club is really begining to dip into the the transfer market. This is a story about the team's final game, with comments from the coach about how he felt the season went. funny too that the coach is looking at a season with only 4 yellow cards given as an accomplishment. http://www.socceragenepal.com.np/news/news.php?action=news_list&sno=157
TWO Americans... http://www.anfanepal.com/news.php?newsid=96 "Kathmandu Club’s American player Kenneth Williams also conceded yellow in today’s match." Kenneth Williams apparently played for Louisiana College alongside Wallace Jackson. Williams is listed as a forward, though he apparently played in midfield at least once for Kathmandu Club. The only other mention of Williams in any match report is the yellow card on July 30. Jackson's performance, meanwhile, seems to have been Barthezesque. He's made a lot of spectacular saves this season, but he also committed at least two howlers: in a 2-0 loss to NRT on June 10 (fumbled weak shot that would have gone wide, allowing opposing striker to clean up) and in a 2-0 loss to Sankata Club on July 15 (failed to save a shot that was going straight at him). Apparently both of them have gone from being regular starters on a lousy college team in Louisiana to playing for a lousy team in Nepal... Nepalese league standings
Re: TWO Americans... Dude, the Mahendra Police Club is second. The Youth Club is last. I can see the headlines now...Police Club beats Youth Club.
Re: TWO Americans... What'd these guys move to Nepal to smoke hashish, mountain climb and commune and realize that they could play soccer in order to survive. I mean how the heck do you wind up going from playing soccer for a college in Lousiana to playing in Nepal?
Re: Re: TWO Americans... six hits of acid, a little league chest protector, 50 feet of garden hose, a cattle tazer, and a small prop plane.
Re: Re: photo Man, I was going to say that the kid on the far post has better tactical awareness than Mike Burns...
This just in... After selling Johnny Walker to Arsenal, the Metrostars are desperately searching for a new keeper. They are interested in Wallace Jackson but Kathmandu Club are playing hardball. They're holding out for two tubs of Ghee and a servicable yak.
Re: This just in... so long as I'm not the one that has to "service the yak" that sounds like a good price
