anyone else think that Katmandu Club sounds like the name of some sort of open air bar?

apparently some feel there's a anti-soccer bias in the Nepalise media as well!!!

you know you're pretty bad ass too when you can claim that you play in the Martyr's Memorial League

flood the Nepalese FA with interview requests with Wallace Jackson. see if you can get some glossy 8 x 10s.

  4. OK, so I called the Nepalese FA, and
they can't help us get Wallace Jackson kits.

We have to call the Kathmandu Club on:

    011.977.1.4261.618

OK, i've done my part, whose next?

I just want to warn everybody right here and right now: make damn sure you use an [R] in thread titles about this guy, because I watch every Nepal league game on my gargantuan, NASA-engineered, satelite dish. On delay. I have the Shootout Package. And I'll kill the first one of you that ruins a match for me.

For you prols that don't get to watch the sporting splendor that is the Nepaliga, I think you might be able to listen to a webcast, provided you pony up two goats and a cannister of oxygen for the subscription fee.

  7. Come on People! This is a HOLY QUEST.
Get off your ass, get ready for the $20
charge on your phone bill, and just do it!
Call Fricking Nepal! You know you've always
    wanted to. Just do it!

EVERYONE who has posted on this thread
    is nothing but a MIKE_SEGROVES-ESQUE
PRETENDER if they don't MAKE THE CALL.

  8. You mean the "Comcast Yeti Package".

This link is supposed to go to the Nepal Football message board: http://www.anfa.gov.np/mess/aspboard.asp

It's down right now, from, presumably, the massive uptick in traffic they've seen since news of Jackson's transfer hit the states. When it's back online, I'm going to become a regular on their "Yanks in Nepal" board.

    fixed your post.

  19. This thread rules.

  20. So, the closest kit I've ever seen,
if that really is Wallace in action,
is Coventry City who, I think, in the
80's, had one year of away kits that
    were Sky Blue with Black.

I WANT MY WALLACE JACKSON KIT.

  21. Based on my conversation with the dudes
at the Nepalese FA about an hour ago, I'd
wager that board has been down for years.

there ya go. oddly enough they don't have "Selling Wallace Jackson Jersies" listed under their Potential Trade Opportunities site. And I'm stunned the American Embassy does not have a press release out about Wallace Jackson.

you'd also get a 'special plague'

however, i don't knwo if i'd be paying money to have voting rights for a group that exists where Moaist rebels are trying to take down the Communist government.

Besides it looks like we all can become a basic member for $1
