Wow indeed. It was so bad that they played several more games after they quit updating the website! He probably had more clean sheets in Nepal than he did last season in college...

Assuming it's the same guy. But if I was from Metarie, I'd be primed for a move to Nepal, too.

    Stay Tuned

I heard that Garber is going to announce MLS is expanding to Kathmandu, pending the completion of a SSS.

Yeah, that's my question, you must be down in the sub-basement of the internet to find this stuff. You afraid of sunlight or something, Dave?

and UGH! Deepesh Thapa is always beating American keepers! We need to try to get him married and cap-tied just so we know Mexico will never get him.

I knew I should've shopped my CV around the globe when I was in my late teens/early 20s. I could have played in the Vanuatu 3rd division!

If this guy is a defensive mid or more of a piano-mover, grunt type of player, we could refer to him as The Sherpa.

I use a complex proprietary algorithm running on a computer powered by a Mr. Fusion machine I picked up at a yard sale.

    uh, yeah.

Not to get off topic but have you ever seen this show called Star Trek? And what is the worst part about living with your parents?

Just foolin', we kid because we love. Good find.

    This is bad..

Even in Nepal, they're only interested in our keepers. Doesn't anybody want our field players?

Whoever found this needs to go outside.....seriously.

However, the Nepal league is great. If you can play there, you can play anywhere.

    Three comments:

    1. DMN is Da MaN.

    2. The only way anyone can outdo DMN finding this YA is for someone to go see him play. Now THAT would be cool.

    3. I'll bet Wallace feels a lot of nostalgia for the good ol' US of A when they blast Bob Seger's "Katmandu" on the PA before every match.

I've always thought there was some country where I could play top level soccer. I think my best chance is either Nepal or American Samoa.

    Re: Stay Tuned

Except, the investor is rumored to demand only Americans with Nepalese parents, plus 3 Nepalese SIs. Don't think that'll fly with the rest of the league.

Since my students are required to study abroad for 1-2 semesters, and Nepal is a popular destination (seriously), maybe Wallace can set up a pipeline for American college students studying in Nepal!
