Also, as far as Beira-Mar is concerned, are you getting just the home and away? Any chance of getting the logo t-shirt they have? (like the one below)

I'm happy that I'll finally be able to get a new jersey (one I have now is still from when they were with Zico), as it is, but I'd love to get one of those fitted tees as well.

Speaking of bwin.com Liga jerseys, does anyone not like it that the three big Portuguese teams all have PT sponsorships (much like The Old Firm in Scotland have Carling)?

Personally, I'd like to see some variation, especially with teams that are so close in the standings.

 

I hate the Sponsor logos period. Each year they are getting more and more areas on the kits to get sponsored. Soon enough, even Valtrex will sponsor Mantorras' jock.

 

What the ********'s the big deal? It's just a sponsor.

Doesn't mean anything to the club other than a nice chunck of change at the end of the season.

 

It is just a sponsor, but I don't like it for two reasons:

It makes a monopoly out of PT in the sponsorship area, where other businesses could be getting adequate viewing from its consumers;

and it associates rival tems with other, something I believe fans don't like.

I'm a Man U fan, and if Liverpool, Arsenal, or Chelsea had the same sponsor as MU, I wouldn't like it, because those are teams fans are supposed to strive to better than.

 

These are supplied to Sporting by the same company I'm dealing with. They told me my order should be ready at the end of this week which means I'm also a couple of weeks away from getting my stuff (including the BWin Liga patch!)

 

Hey CSD...if not too much trouble can you update what is left in regards to WC06 Portugal Gear. (i.e. Youth Jerseys and Player name Jerseys)

In addition have you received the Sporting alternative kit yet...

Do you still have the Nike Letters and Numbers for the NT Jerseys?

 

I think we pretty much still have all NT youth jerseys, Player names we have in youth are only Figo and C. Ronaldo.

Sporting alternate jersey (the lucky yellow one)- yes we do have it but very limited quantities (no XXL for sure right now)

Also, we still have a good # of Letters and numbers for the NT jerseys (BTW they are not Nike they are the official #s and letters just like the players use them) but we are currently sold out of C.R #17... We even have Eusebio #10, Rui Costa #10 and Quaresma #7 (no word on when we'll have Nani #32 ) Hope this helps!

Wait, and then get the Nani in yellow with the official Bwin.com numbers and patch. You and I both know as Sporting fans that we will only have a few years to enjoy him, if that. And hey, wouldn't a Sporting 28 be cooler then the NT 17 now?? That is how we will think of Nani's jersey soon.

There it is (Top Left)! I am glad I got my hands on this jacket, it really is nice. I get compliments on it all the time. Bought it at Footlocker in Montreal. From what I heard, it was exclusive to Footlocker in Canada...

TBZ is really pissing me off. I have asked over 4 weeks ago for a price list of Porto stuff and they keep telling me they will e-mail me it and blah, blah, blah. Tomorrow I'm calling Dr. Fernando Gomes from Porto SAD's and tell them they made a BIG mistake in handing over the marketing of their gear to such a clueless company. Braga dropped the contract with TBZ because they were absolutely USELESS. Bunch of freaking morons piss me off! Specially when it involves Porto gear. My customers lose out, I lose out and Porto LOSES (not something we are used to doing )

Anyway, in case I didn't make my self clear: TBZ SUCKS!

 

I had made that clear the one year they were in charge of Beira-Mar merchandise...

 

Why did they do the logo like that though?

 

I thought it looked weird at first too, but it fits the style and colors of the jacket.
