Yes, Taitague and Amon look legit as it stands right now. I'm very impressed with Amon people see him as a healthy Joe Gyau. I wouldn't consider Carleton as a winger, he is a bit slow to be kept on the flanks, his game is inside, the more touches the better for him.
Gyau in the sense that he has that quick speed off the block, yes. But I think Amon looks like he has more potential on the ball. Possibly.
Only two Superliga rounds left before the winter break... and the biggest game is up next, away vs. FC København on 3. december 18:00 Central European Time ... there is no bigger test than that in the Superliga ... Last game will be at home vs. Hobro on 10. december 14:00 CET https://www.bold.dk/fodbold/danmark/superligaen/
Yes, come to think of it, Gyau is/was a power runner, beating people in a straight line was his bread-n-butter. Amon seems to be more dynamic, he can change directions on a dime.
If you ask FCN, they probably think they have found a new but much younger version of Joshua John ... and obviously, considering Amon's very young age, then who knows how far he can go : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joshua_John
Besides Amon, that's Bill Hamid, Perry Kitchen, Rubio Rubin and Emmanuel Sabi all on the books and playing (assuming Hamid starts) in Denmark right now. Be interesting to see if Sarachan calls any of these guys in.
Amon is getting much praise in Denmark for his past two games ... I would even call the praise unusually high, because some are already talking about him as a possible Superliga star and a big sales object.
Do you know if the reason he got the start was due to him performing well as a sub the game(s) prior? Were there any yellow card suspensions/injuries for starting wingers for last weekends’ game?
No suspensions ... no ... In fact FCN have only had 4 suspensions so far this season : https://www.superstats.dk/kort/hold?id=6&aar=2017/2018 ... as for injuries they do have one of their strikers long-term injured, but that happened months ago ...otherwise they have mainly used the right back/winger Mads Aaquist as left forward,...
Well, this hype train has left the station. Do you believe he'll be a consistent starter or more of a rotational player? Thanks a bunch for your insight.
Well ... it's a very young team and as written before, Amon was the 30th (almost all own youth) player to get debut in the Superliga for FCN since january 2016, so they do tend to give their young players a rest now and then, but I would not go as far as to call it rotational.
imo, there hasnt been a greater fall in the last 3 years than Rubin. I thought he had something in that Colombia match at craven cottage. ever since then he has dropped off precipitously
Apparently Amon attended the Global Football School in Charleston, which somehow hooked him up with an international school in Copenhagen, allowing him to join FCN academy.

Amon's biggest game of the season is up today, away vs. FC København 18:00 Central European Time ... and with only one more game left before the long Danish winter break, this is the game if you want to watch him play .
