4 star but he's 6'3 185 With long arms. Jamal Adams and Grant Delpit 2.0

LSU returns JaMarr Chase and Terrace Marshall next season. That WR core is unfair. And iirc 5 of the top 10 kids in Louisiana next recruiting season are WRs.

Rak gonna be Diggs 2.0. I don't believe LSU told Rak to go elsewhere..it makes no sense. But Locksley got a good one. Fended off Bama w that one too.

It would have been really lit if we got the #1 overall prospect in this class. For the first time ever, I can say the #1 overall prospect went to my high school.

    Damascus?

Breese is an animal. Funny enough, the only guy who managed to stifle Breese signed with LSU, Elvis Dumervils nephew, Marcus Dumervil.

Yep. We are a perennial powerhouse, yet we never produced a top prospect or got anyone of note in the NFL. Hoping Breese succeeds, but I think he might be better suited for the interior DL. It was easy for him to rush from the edge in high school because he was a man among boys.

I can’t believe people continue to let themselves get fooled by Kirk Cousins.

That was bad. I was particularly impressed by the way he kept turning five yard sacks into 15s.

To be fair, there were some terrible mistakes in protection, it wasn't all about Smith's Randy White imitation.

But to be even fairer, that's probably the sort of thing Cousins should be expected to spot and do something about. Something other than keep running backwards when they're all faster than he is.

People get caught up in the same sort of stat analysis game like they have been for most of his career now. They look at the numbers at face value and think he is playing at a very high level. He's been elevated into MVP talks this season. I am not trying to say he's a bad quarterback. People just have a tendency to overrate him based off his numbers without knowing the context by watching the games or looking at advanced statistics.

Yes, pressure definitely caused issues for Kirk last night. However, the Packers were able to take way the quick game and Mike Boone is not Dalvin Cook where you can dump it off to him and hope something magically happens. The Vikings couldn't call screens like they were accustomed to with Cook and even Mattison. Kirk has been living off short passes in quick game, screens and play action passing. The only time he really throws intermediate to deep is off play action. He is also heavily reliant on timing. He is notorious for being a horrible off schedule passer. If you can disrupt timing with his WRs with pressure or good coverage, he usually makes bad decisions.

What Kirk has evolved into -- a game managing, stat filler, who generally comes up short in big games or against good defenses -- is a far cry from what he was when he came into the league -- a gunslinger who lacked the mentality to overcome the mistakes a gunslinger makes. His first two years in the league were riddled with good throws, big numbers from attacking the field and of course, interceptions from forcing the ball. Jay Gruden did not like that kind of quarterback and has molded him into a game manager -- making safe throws, relying on quick game and rhythm. Unfortunately, when he started heading down that path, he also added a ton of checkdowns to his game, opting for them and missing open WRs down the field.

In short, he is not worth what he is paid and he isn't a quarterback that is going to move the needle for any franchise. He needs everything to be virtually perfect around him to have any success.

Not intentionally at least lol. Not sure what you have been saying recently about him on the podcast. I haven't had a chance to listen in two weeks. I've seen more Vikings fans recently that have been talking him up.

Sounds good. Anytime between 2-4 is the best for me. I could also do between 9-12.

Grant is pathetic. But Kirk deserves props for the throw to Thielen.

Oddly enough, the only take that has been negative on him since the initial shock wore off. Now I am just seeing the media praise this hire and how impressive he was in his interview.

Sometimes I feel like I am alone and that I criticize too much lol. In the USa we have the patriots pixy dust, in Brazil we now have the Portugueese Pixy Dust. Too much momentum to fight it at this point.

Either way you win. I want to see Redskins win the division. Needs to happen because even the McCarthy hire by dallas was underwhelming even tho i understood it.

A buddy of mine texted me when the Texans were up 24-0 about how Andy Reid is a choker. I didn't call a comeback, but I asked him if he knew who Bill O'Brien was. Bill O'Brien is going to Bill O'Brien in the playoffs.
