wait wait...please don't tell me...promotion/relegation is coming: Philadelphia Fury @PhillyFuryASL 4h4 hours ago I'm so excited! Big news coming out of the ASL later this week with several major announcements!
10 Million dollar deal with McDonald's. *All ASL match tickets will come with up to $20 in coupons on the back. The league will then print 500,000 tickets.
guess that they could charge everyone $200 instead...sigh SGFC Tryouts August 12th, 2017 TRYOUT Locations: BABE RUTH SYNTETHIC FIELD Gibbons Common Opposite Saint. Agnes Healthcare 900 Caton Avenue Baltimore, Maryland 21229 Interested Players Must Fill out This Form to Tryout AND pay the $100 tryout fee.
The 500,000 tickets thing is hilarious. They could not possibly distribute 500,000 tickets between now and 2027.
I love how they show a major world class stadium, yet play in front of 8 people at junior high stadiums.
Philadelphia Fury @PhillyFuryASL 3h3 hours ago ASL has expanded by 5 new teams for fall season with 4 of them partnering with international brands, to be released later in the season
I am assuming of course that "further details" will be released later in the season...and it's NOT that the international brands are being released...and ASL teams are not being released...you know maybe from prison or something...lol
ooooh ooooh lemme guess Jack Warner and Sepp Blatter: Philadelphia Fury @PhillyFuryASL 58m58 minutes ago The ASL is in the final stages of announcing two incredible dynamic executives who will help take the ASL to the next level ! Announce soon
Ongoing argument at my first newspaper in Wilmington, NC: The local airport insisted we refer to it as "international" because it occasionally had a private or cargo plane go to the Bahamas or something like that. The editor refused. Fun stuff.
So I noticed that the ASL has two teams listed that are not in the standings - Atlanta something or other and a team out of Sacramento whose social media is gone.
I would say that Chuck Blazer's cat is seeking employment and could easily run this league in a more professional manner.
Honest question: When this falls apart, what level would be the appropriate league for them to join? D2? D3?
Where is Sacramento listed? Atlanta's been listed for a few months, but I don't see any reference to Sacramento on the website.
