He wasn't scoring goals like that in SJ. Seems to have settled in and is playing with a real high level of confidence.
How’s that Spanish coming along for Cade? Probably doesn’t matter if he keeps banging in goals of that quality. I know he has a Mexican mother but he’s well on his way to being the most beloved Gringo in Liga MX since Beasley.
Would love if he keeps it up. If he does, I could see him getting sold a year from now, but given his up and down career in MLS, he’s better off staying in Liga MX for a couple years to build some consistency.
His highlight real from SJ is filthy. It's just that his last season+ was disappointing in terms of production.
That goal is what he is all about, IMHO. He runs at defenders and what happens next looks to be getting better. I see a very bright future. And he has size. He's scary.

Definitely unexpected given the fact that he languished in San Jose for a few years and that Liga Mx is clearly a cut above. But man is he putting up numbers. Maybe the bigger crowds and focus are spurring him on.
Fair he is only 20yrs old, but between 17-20yrs old at San Jose he didn’t seem to improve much is more of the point rather than him being up and down. His ups were the flashes of skill he’d show for a few games in a row, and then wouldn’t do much the rest of the games.
Because lack of competition, not just with your own teammates. San Jose itself is a sorry-ash team for many years.

Yea that probably stifled his development a bit. Given how good Tsakris looks for the U20’s and how invisible he looks for San Jose this season I do hope he makes it over to the Eredivisie or Belgium soon.
