Most importantly, Joe Corona assisted on the opener for Tijuana

He assisted on the 2nd goal in a 4-2 loss:

Goal! Club Tijuana 4, Guadalajara 2. Armando González (Guadalajara) right footed shot from the centre of the box to the bottom right corner. Assisted by Cade Cowell.

Great individual effort. I really can’t figure it out with Cade. He has great physical tools, great at dribbling, perhaps not the best passing or finishing, but it’s as if he doesn’t know how/when to use his tools or isn’t always high on confidence.

He flashed for them right after the initial transfer as well and then cooled off. Consistency has always been an issue. His physical traits absolutely pop so most fans want to see him get more opportunities... and so do I. If he could ever put it all together he could be a difference maker for his club and the USMNT. The YA winger pool is extremely thin at the U23 level. Cade seems to be the only one with the kind of pace that can torch opposing Ds.

I think that he has the potential to be as good Weah, if not a little better.

I assume he wasn't released for Olympic team right. That team definitely needed some pace and could have backed up McGuire.

The team needs another striker pretty badly... alas, it is too late. Not sure Cowell fits the bill as a false 9 but w/o a threat to get beyond the backline our better opponents will be able to squeeze the field. Cowell at least brings something different. Just like Luna would have. Aaronson, Paredes, and Yow are all so similar... quick and technical but lacking physicality and the ability to burn defenders. I would have been cool with Luna over Aaronson and Cowell over Yow... but it is what it is. I still like Aaronson and Yow. Perhaps they will come up big when it counts.?.?

    No a bad thing.
He scored and assisted in the game after that. Luna did a goal and three assists. Back then when Braden Aaronson didn’t get call up, he suddenly came to live in Union Berlin and saved them from relegation.
