This is going to be a tougher one. Bolivia is a hard place to play because of the altitude. We are also without Navia and Rojas. We need at least a tie here and I think we will get it. America a ganar!
Re: Re: America vs. The Strongest [R] I think it's a few thousand feet, but I will find out for sure for you. If there are any teams that could get used to playing in Bolivia quicker it the Mexican teams IMHO.
Re: Re: America vs. The Strongest [R] La Paz has different climate environments according to each zone's altitude. While the center of town is at 3,650 meters above sea level, the zone of Aranjuez is at 3,300 m. El Alto (where the international airport is located) is at 4,082 m. Mexico City is at 2,300m.
Re: Re: Re: America vs. The Strongest [R] I would say teams from Quito could adjust better because Quito is at 2,850 m.
I was thinking that America would have the advantage in the group against Sao Caetono and Penarol based on the fact that they are more used to the altitude. They are the most likely to pull out a good result in La Paz.
Looks like they're ready! Almost game time.... As soon as I get outta work I'm heading to pick up a pizza and some Sam Adams Light. Got a small gathering going to watch this game.
0-0, en mi opinion, buen resultado. Especialmente que ya los equipos Bolivianos se pueden inspirar por el triunfo de uno de los de ellos contra Boca. America va bien.
America should have won this game. They had the best chances (Castillo, Castro) Strongest relied on shots outside the area (1 hit the post)
I agree with lond, we should've won this game though a draw is not that bad considering this was in La Paz.
