GOOD STUFF... good game... the first 30 minutes it was fast game... The ref kind of screwed up here and there. I personally didnt want the CHivas player to get thrown out... but the game was getting physical and somewhat out of hand... again.. the ref showed his inexperience..he should have been more firm from the beginning... CHivas had 2 serious threats at the goal.. America had atleast 7 serious threats
Saw the game report in Channel 34 (Univision) they had a crowd of 50k for this game !!! which was basically a match up between reserves. Not bad for a midweek game. MFL Expansion anyone..
No, I went to this pool hall name Rita's. If I am not mistaken, the owners are Argentine. Its not the classiest place, but it will do. They have screens all over the place. They mostly show Mexican soccer (national team, league play, copa libertadores, etc) I think they have a mexican dish and some other dishes, because they are not suppose to have those channels. But i am not complaining. My parents use to have Sky, but then game me the dish. but when i moved into my new apartments.. they dont allow dishes. They also show games from Central America and South America. yesterday, i went there and saw the river game. I saw bits and pieces of the mexican teams participating in the CCC, but mostly stayed in the back and saw the river game.. and after that saw highlights of the Championsleague.. I was surprised that they didnt charge for the America-Chivas game. Brian Hall was the name of the ref. During the game...this midget walks in and starts walking around...and he looked familar...next thing you know i see 2 wrestlers...and it clicked... they along with the promoter were in there passing flyers because Mexicna Wrestling will be in town.. they sat down and watched the game for a while

It has been years since I have missed an America game. THe only one that i did not watch was when America was dressed up as Real San Luis a while ago. I had to attend some personal matters, but my cousin recorded the game for me and sent it to me. Actually, from the looks of the stadium, it looked like 55K. THe newspapers said that the attendance was 50K and that they could have sold more but decided not to and closed off some sections. One one side of the field... they closed off the first 10 rows near the sidline. (I guess because they didnt want the fans throwing shyt at the players. The reporter said that the stadium was 50/50. Chivas and America fans were not seperated.
