This is before I decided on which club to cheer for(Arsenal, just recently). Last year when Arsenal completed the Double at Old Trafford and beat down Utd, I was not cheering and feeling like, "yeah take that Utd or go gunners!" I felt sick to my stomach and was grumpy for days and then my Arsenal friend(Brit) living in Naperville called to chat about the match. He was happy as a clam and I was depressed/didn't share in his joy. I feel like a total bandwagon fan supporting Arsenal when they are absolutely destroying the Premiership right now. I don't see anyone beating them again this year, another Double(in my opinion). Please respond. I am curious.

Support any team you wish. However, if it means anything to you, remember the vast majority of the Gooner's players are imports, while United still have a majority of players from the British Isles.

I know Utd seems to be England's club

Besides Owen, Utd have Becks' the most pop player in England. I have English and Irish ancestry. i have heard from many English journalist that Utd is HUGE in Ireland. My wife is Irish too, but also French. You think it would eventually bother Gunners that all the stars on their club are not BRITS!
Well what did you think about my last post.

So long as they win, it won't matter to them where their players are from. However, with United, it's not just Becks. For instance England, Butt, Scholes, & the Nevilles. From Ireland, "Keano" & O'Shea. From Wales, "Giggsy". All Internationals @ some level or another in the British Isles.

Per your original post, "Am United in Arsenal Clothing" Ditch the Gooners & follow your heart.

Not sure what the problem is, Patrick. If you have a gut feeling for Utd then go with them. Arsenal may be playing the best football at this point in the season but if there's one club that can change that it's Utd. They have the players, the experience but currently lack their normal cohesion. That can change in a matter of weeks. But if they're not quite as dominating at this time then that merely means that the matches will be far more exciting to watch.

Hell, if I'm not careful, I'll be convincing myself to start supporting West Ham :)

This is ridiculous. You don't support a team whether they're winning or losing. You support your team. Period.
