Uly Llanez as 4 goals in 2 games for Wolfsburgs U19. He 100% would be getting MLS minutes if he wasn’t let go for free.
Sad news that Colin Clark passed away last night: The Colorado Rapids organization mourns the loss of former player and Colorado native Colin Clark. We would like to express our deepest sympathies to Colin's friends and family. pic.twitter.com/Q2Clzf3wcU— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) August 27, 2019
That's terrible about Colin Clark. I didn't remember him playing for the Galaxy! But I certainly remember him in Colorado maroon. RIP.
A GoFundMe has been set up to generate a college fund for Colin Clark's son: https://www.gofundme.com/f/college-fund-for-tyce-clark
Ola Kamara now has 3 goals with DC since returning. That is the same number as our second highest goal scorer (two tied with three). I miss him.
It was this guys birthday yesterday. This vid brings back memories of a happier time: 🐐Happy Birthday, @magee18! pic.twitter.com/br4VIYqJaU— LA Galaxy (@LAGalaxy) September 2, 2019
A great article on how Arena completely turned the Revs season around. Under Friedel they were 2-8-2 and had a -19 gd. Under Bruce they are 8-2-8 with a +14 gd. Bruce didn't change much in terms of lineups or personnel. Mostly it had to do with him treating his players like professionals. It was a marked contrast to Friedel who treated them like grade schoolers who would be yanked from games and made to run sprints the next day if they messed up. It's behind a paywall but if you have a sub to theathletic.com it's a fun read: https://theathletic.com/1256851/201...-wins-how-bruce-arena-turned-the-revs-around/
Interesting and wonder if it's related to their backgrounds in the game. Bruce is well known to be a great man manager, looks like this just adds to that data pool.
Arena remains highly underappreciated despite his abilities. Ironic that he took over from a pro coach with a hard Europoser mindset and fixed his mess. That gives me a lot of satisfaction actually. Hearing Friedel blather on about what would and wouldn't be accepted in Europe and how fans would be waiting for players after games, just smacked of the most toxic anti-MLS twitter whiners. On a similar note, it's also gratifying to see that after all the claims that he was a great coach, blackballed by MLS for being vocally critical of them, Eric Wynalda has been reeking of mediocrity with the Las Vegas Lights.

Landon's USL team takes the field in 2020 and has name and crest. Thoughts? So proud to be part of such an amazing project. Thank you to everyone who has made it possible. Stefan Ishizaki announced his retirement from football. He had 5 goals and 7 assists during the Galaxy 2014 cup run. Finished with 50 GP, 3,527 minutes, 6 goals, 12 assists and 1 ring for the Galaxy. #LAGalaxy #MLS https://t.co/WKdwbHXIjY— Corner Of The Galaxy (@GalaxyPodcast) November 4, 2019

He was promoted to head coach in 2018 from head of the youth academy
So if Landon is VP of Soccer Operations and Head Coach, does he fire himself if he’s not a good coach?
Is he really going to be head coach? His experience seems pretty thin. I suppose lots of former players have made the jump, and he's a smart guy, but I seem to remember him saying he didn't want to coach adults.
