Villareal has a home game against 18th place Almeria. VCF have an injury list that includes Marcos Senna and Nilmar. Marco Ruben should step in and replace Nilmar with Jozy making the 18. Hopefully this is a match where Villareal can run away with it early giving Jozy a chance to get plenty of playing time in the second half.

For those with DirecTV, the game will be on channel 477 starting at 2 pm ET. The program is set to run for 3 and half hours so I guess that channel will be playing music for an hour and a half afterwards.

    Here is the 18:
Porteros: Juan Carlos y Diego López.
Defensas: Ángel, Mario, Gonzalo, Catalá, Kiko, Capdevila y Joan Oriol.
Centrocampistas: Borja Valero, Bruno, Matilla, Santi Cazorla, Cani y Jefferson Montero.
Delanteros: Rossi, Marco Ruben y Altidore
    .

I'd also love to see Garrido experiment with a 3 man front line with Altidore on the left and Montero on the right. Since it is going to be tough for them to hang on to Rossi and Nilmar over the long term, it could be the formation of the future. That'd be a ton of attacking athleticism to have on the wings.

Same question here. I'm at my folks' house -- they have DirecTV -- and the only thing 477 gives me is "channel not found" or some such.

I would assume you have to have the same sports package that includes all of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League coverage on channels 480-489.

Some guy named Rossi might play in this match, too. And it's Villarreal, not Villareal!

Ruben has 3 goals this season, all in the Europa League. Altidore has 2 goals this season, all in the Copa del Rey.

It's a fairly small sample size, but clearly the second person has already established themselves as a capable starter. Question is which one fits better what the coach wants the starters to do today.

Goal scored by Villarreal and it's not by Ruben. Perfect for YA fans, I guess.

EDIT: Apparently 3 Villarreal players were unmarked in the box on that goal.

Even better, Ruben with an idiotic tackle that earns him a yellow card.

I believe "Catala," with the accent mark going in the other direction (which I'm too lazy to cut and paste here) means "Catalan" in Catalan. A propos of nothing.
