Scored a goal in Copa MX for Rayados today. Still one of the best attackers last u20 WC needs to play as CAM or SS though
That was a natural stroke. He put some curl on it and hit it at the far post. He hit it hard enough that the defenders couldn't see it and react to it. Nice goal. I'd be proud of that one. Chest it down, smack it outside of the foot at the far post...fun stuff. Do that on a one-hop (half-volley) off of the chest and you have one for the scrapbook.

Hmm reading the tweets searching his name seems people have polar effects on him. On one hand I see tweets saying he looked good on the other hand saying he wasn't good. Obviously he's got natural talent but like most young MX prospects consistency is his problem. Still believe he could have a chance with US u21s probably wouldn't be a starter though
Alonso Hernandez’s Monterrey fell 2-1 to Santos Laguna, with the Texan striker seeing a headed chance saved in the 72nd minute after starting the game. Los Rayados finished in third place and miss out on the quarterfinals. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...jose-torres-help-tigres-copa-mx-quarterfinals
Edgar Castillo netted the first goal of his Atlas career, but it didn’t make a difference in the end as Los Rojinegros lost 2-1 to Monterrey on Saturday.... Alonso Hernandez played the final 33 minutes for Monterrey after coming on for Cesar Delgado on the wing in the 58th. http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...-scores-first-goal-atlas-herculez-gomez-earns

Alonso scored the opener for Monterrey's U20s today, now up 2-0 and up a man. A win today will probably clinch them a playoff spot.

Today was Alonso's last game as an official U20 player, and he scored a goal for Monterrey in a 2-0 win. He doesn't seem to be anywhere close to their first team, though, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next. Will he stick around for another year as an over-age youth player?
Native Texan. Not one of the players on the MLS Allocation List, so could go anywhere in the states. Would be a nice pickup for a club like Houston, although they have Cubo coming.
