Contract is up in 2027 and as the post argued, Lampard’s system doesn’t fit Wright as well as it does other players.

It would make sense for Coventry to cash in. They could probably get something like $20 million, which is a great haul for a 28-year-old second-division forward.

Wright played 62' in a disappointing 1-2 loss to Southampton, Coventry's consolation goal coming in 2nd-half stoppage time, via a PK which Wright wasn't around to take.

I think so. Similar profile (stats, bit older) to Latte Lath who went to Atlanta for $22 million + add-ons.

    $15 million at absolute minimum.

A system where he's guaranteed to start and therefore scores even more goals?

Wright returns to the squad, on the bench. Coventry City hosting Derby County (Agyemang on the bench).

Coventry City 3-2 Derby County, Wright coming on as part of a triple sub at 63' - with the score 1-1. Big Pat entered for Derby at 65'.

With just six matches remaining, Coventry City should be able to coast downhill into the Premier League, and almost certainly via finishing first in the Championship. It's all over bar the shouting.

Looking at last year's top scorer finishing with 19 goals which seems very low with regard to seasons of at least 25 goals eith Mitrovic having over 40 not too long ago.

Man this guy is streaky. His match log shows a wildly inconsistent season

It was substandard Haji day today.. should of had at least 1 goal in the first half but his timing was widly off and he really didn't do much else to impact the game other than one or two decent touches Semi Ajayi had him in his back pocket the entire time he was on the field.

Well that's pretty much it Coventry need 1 pt to secure automatic promotion so either Haji gets sold for $ in the summer or we'll be seeing if he can manage to get some minutes in the PL next season. He put in more of an effort today but didn't have a real playmaker behind him (again) and was offsides once or twice where he would of been clear in on goal... oh well Coventry will be throwing a party for the rest of the remaining games that should be fun to watch.
