Haji might wanna hide for a few days he had about 3-4 golden chances to put Oxford away and just didn't have his finishing boots on today.

If Wright doesn’t get his act together, he won’t be seeing the pitch for Coventry anymore, let alone the USMNT. He looked listless and uninterested, immobile like a pylon in the middle of the penalty area. Whenever the ball was played to him, he always had the wrong timing and body position, repeatedly missing clear chances to win an important game.

He was more aggressive in the second half but good grief he can't score a header to save his life how is someone who's 6'4' unable to put one away even occasionally? Which makes his breakaway complete miss all the more unforgiveable.

Wright starts! Coventry City hosting Middlesbrough (Morris starting).

    Per Opta (pre-match)

    Middlesbrough 51.5 % finishing first | 78.5 % promotion

    Coventry 31% | 65% promotion

    Ipswich 12% | 34% promotion

Haji came to play today, hit the post early on with a header and just now got himself into a dangerous position in the box and scuffed it home, 1-0 to Coventry.

scores a 2nd around 54'. It's the most "route 1" goal you'll ever see... assist given to the GK on that one.

Lampard has Wright positioned upfield when Coventry are defending, stopping the center-halves from pushing forward. Old school.

his pressure has been really good too. He's created possession out of next-to-nothing a few times now!

Breaks out of his slump in the biggest of ways in the most important game of the season thus far. Pretty cool.

Haji "Hat trick" Wright showed up at the wright time and place today. As the commentary said, he's a big gamer. He produced in the biggest match of the season, so let's hope this sparks a run of goals for Haji. Nothing better than having two Yanks close to the top of the scoring charts in the Champo. Bodes well for both.

I’m really happy for Haji. He responded to a terrible performance in the best possible way.

In mean it is the Championship. Pepi got 2 goal contributions against Napoli in the 6 minutes he was on the pitch. He also got a goal and an assist against Liverpool.
