Halmstad remains on top of the league, with 23 points, and a goal differential lead over Hammarby. Malmö FF are 3rd with 20 points, and Kalmar FF has 18. Halmstad and Kalmar each have a game in hand on Malmö and Hammarby. Helsingborg are in sole possession of last place with 7 points. Landskrona, Trelleborg, and Elfsborg all have 9 points. On goal difference, Elfsborg are in the automatic relegation spot, Trelleborg in the playoff, and Landskrona are safe. AIK are right there too, with 10 points. Looking at the attendences for a moment, Malmö become the first team over the 100,000 fan point with their last home date, having drawn over 110,000 to 6 home dates. AIK and Djurgården should also hit that mark in their next home date or 2. Hammarby and Sundsvall have already played their match for round 11, so here's the rest of the schedule for that round. July 11 Halmstads BK-Örgryte IS IF Elfsborg-AIK IFK Göteborg-Trelleborgs FF July 12 Helsingborgs IF-Örebro SK FK Kalmar FF-Landskrona BoIS July 14 Djurgårdens IF FF-Malmö FF
Too bad Sweden isn't one of those bandwagon soccer countries like England is with ManU. I would love to see the Allsvenskan be shown on FSW. I like how there's a bit more parity than your more poular leagues, but not as much as MLS it seems. Djurgarden did own the league for something like 3 years, IIRC, and right after promotion, to boot. But now they are mid table, and it seems like 4 teams have a quite obvious shot at this point, Djurgarden not amongst them. Is there anywhere that shows the history of who has won the Allsvenskan? That would be interesting to see.
Yes. http://www.svenskfotboll.se/t2all.asp?p=19957 After the latest change in league format: 1993 IFK Göteborg 1994 IFK Göteborg 1995 IFK Göteborg 1996 IFK Göteborg 1997 Halmstads BK 1998 AIK 1999 Helsingborgs IF 2000 Halmstads BK 2001 Hammarby IF 2002 Djurgårdens IF 2003 Djurgårdens IF
