Too small eh? Barthez is 6 feet tall on his tip toes.

Janot is a very solid keeper. He's 28 years old. Barthez and Coupet are both done after this world cup (maybe Coupet stays on for the Euro, but he's already pushing 34). All the talk is of Frey and Landreau replacing them..... but Janot saves St. Ettienne at least 1 goal per game. The highlights of the Lens game showed that they should have scored at least 4...... He's solid, hold on to him tight.

And yes, maybe the relegation comment was harsh, but I see a team that is 9th in the table, and with an average keeper that would be much worst.

The problem with this team is that we're lacking so much in depth. We literally have about 15 players that are capable first-teamers. While this does help team chemistry, it doesn't do much in the way of versatility in matching up against clubs of differing play.

Hellebuyck went off injured last week. Any news on that? (asse.fr isn't working for me right now, don't know why)

If Sky Sports is any indication, it sounds like Zokora won't be making a move until the summer. And when that happens, it'll probably be to one of the big English clubs, since we've placed a big price tag on him.

    St. Etienne forum, Montreal?

I think we could do it, but it would require a lot of commitment from both of us.

We lost in the 120th minute to Lille. Unbelievable

At least we have what should be three points coming up mid-week against Metz.

Also, I don't know who made this a 5-star thread, but props to you.

We have Toulouse, Sochaux, and Nice coming up. I'm expecting at least 7 points out of those matches, before we go to the PdP, and get another 3-0 victory :D

    St-Etienne ain't San Antonio...

Why does St-Etienne receives Toulouse in January instead of the contrary? Stupid L1 fixture list...
