Corner for Les Verts, but nothing comes of it.

Gomis header in the 87th comes to nothing.

Four minutes added on, Les Vert pressing hard.

Darcheville is sent off with a straight red. Apparently a bad tackle.

    Full time. 1-1.

We're still fifth in the tables.

Big three weeks coming up to close out the first half. We go to Lens, play Lyon at the Guichard, and play at Rennes to head into the winter break.

Big match in Lens on Sunday. The match is actually played during the typical Sunday time slot on FSC, but they're showing Lyon-PSG on Sat. instead.

I'll be able to do comms.

It's up to us to break OL's undefeated run.

I really hope we can get three points out of today's match. A win would put us in fourth and keep us within striking distance of Bordeaux and Auxerre.

    Also, for next week:

Picking this match up in the 40th minute. Score is 1-1, with Perrin and Thomert the goal scorers.

Our lineup started out like this:

    -----------Janot---------
    Diawara-Camara-Hognon-Ilunga
    Sable-Zokora-Perrin-Hellebuyck
    Feinduono------Gomis

Hellebuyck looks like he's injured at the half, and Mendy has been subbed on.

It doesn't sound like we're really controlling the game. Hopefully we can turn that around.

Cousin makes another attack on goal right after that, and incredibly, misses.

Without Janot, you guys would be fighting a relegation battle this year. That guy has been incredible every game I've seen him. Funny that he's never been linked to a call up for France though.

He's too small to be considered for les Bleus... :(

As for the relegation battle comment, it might be a bit strong. The team got off to a slow start after the Interto misadventure while facing smaller teams. It got a good run going in the middle to move up to 3rd. However, the offense is lacking due to injuries (Mendy, Mazure, Piquionne) and lack of depth which is dragging us down as we face bigger clubs.

You have to like the play of the youngster Perrin. Hopefully Baup will throw some others into the bath even if it's not his strong suit.

Look for a good rebound after the winter break*

    * conditionnal to the fact that Zokora, Feindouno & others stay put.

Well, it shows you don't get to see many Les Verts game.

From last year to this one, he had a 1500 minutes invicibility streak going at home. While Camara and Hognon in front are more than adequate, the defense isn't CL caliber.

What is missing for Janot are his "killer" outfits of last year. I remember the pink one, the tiger one, the spiderman and the red dot one. However, Adidas doesn't wanna play the same game this year as Duarig did helping making all those special design.

    See for yourself...
