Has nobody mentioned Grimandi on this??

The only good thing he ever did was get a 3 match ban for punching Diego Simeone in the mouth..................:D haha that was awesome

Oh No! Someone suggested Grimandi!!

Kanu's a bit harsh too, if only for the hat trick against Chelsea

Glen Helder was one of my (anti-) favourites. I always remember him starting the game, but at some point when I wasn't looking the bloke somehow managed to sneak off the pitch and disappear, only to somehow magically reappear at the final whistle. Dunno how he did it.

Seriously. Thats just crap. grimandi was a huge reason we won two league titles. He was a player that played and fitted anywhere and gave his heart for the club. Thats a heck of a lot more than many on the squad at the moment.

Wooops. I should never have said anything!!! But he was trying to fit into the team (mostly at CM) at a time when Vieira & Petit bossed our midfield and i always felt that when he played, he was a sort of a step down!!! To be fair he was never the worst, just pretty poor!!! sorry.......

John Kosmina, from Australia. Bloke was terrible. I read a story where he failed to come on as a sub in a European match (vs. Red Star Belgrade?) because he had to go to the bathroom and Arsenal played 11 v. 10 and let in the goal that knocked Arsenal out of Europe.

Played 1 game for the club.

Richard Wright could be the goalkeeper for this Worst XI.

David Hillier, Luzhny, Glen Helder and Eddie McGoldrick were dire.

Stefan Malz and Davor Suker should also be in the list.

Luzhny and Cygan top my list. There used to be three or four threads dedicated to getting rid of Uncle Fester on these boards!

The other one who still bugs me is Pennant. Decent player, but he never seemed to understand that playing for a club like Arsenal was privilege, not a right.

Suker was ok. Unusual Wenger signing, but a decent stopgap i thought

    I renamed him Sucker :p

Rami Shaaban should perhaps be on the list too, I mean what did he do for us? Nothing, he was useless.

    Oooohhhh OUCH!

I knew he would show up on your lists. :D
I had a serious case of WTF?!?! when Villarreal brought him along during the summer window and thought if THIS is our replacement for Gonzalo we are ********ed. But oddly enough after (as you all probably can figure out already) a very rough, slow, and ugly start to his season, he improved 10 fold. Of course the week Gonzalo is well he is benched for the rest of the season with an injury so he may slide back down the ladder so to speak.

And I think it was the ref that ruined your Champions League title moreso than Cygan. IMHO

Manninger was shocking in our run in to Wenger's 1st double. Didn't he only manage a run of 6 clean sheets when he came in for Seaman?

I don't think he deserves to be in the worst team at all, but I always wonder would Sylvinho have made it at Arsenal, if it hadn't been for Cashley Cole.
