what is your ALL TIME korean lineup please, pick anyone that is south korean, any time, present or past, living or dead. try to avoid picking the players you think are good but didnt get a chance to play for Korea like lee kwan woo, but pick the all time best
i think we did, but i got a pm from a Russian who works for the paper and is making an all-time national teams list
----------Lee Dong-gook-------------Hwang Sun-hong---------------- Ko Jung-woon------------Park Ji-sung-------------------Noh Jung-yoon ------------------------Yoo Sang-chul-------------------------------- Ha Suk-ju----Lee Im-saeng--------Hong Myung-bo------Choi Sung-yong ------------------------Kim Byung-ji---------------------------------- what a G'd out line-up this is.
I'm always inclined to 3-4-3 formation so, ---------------Lee Woon-jae----------------- Choi Jin-chul--Hong Myung-bo--Kim Tae-Young ---------------Yoo Sang-chul----------------- Ha Seok-ju----------------------Lee Young-pyo ----------------Kim Joo-sung----------------- Park Ji-sung-----Choi Soon-ho-----Cha Bum-gun I think I got you beat Sky
I was talking in terms of how many gangsters I have in my line-up. LOL. Yoo Sang-chul, Ko Jung-woon and Lee Im-saeng all in one team? This is more like a clique than a soccer team. Add Lee Eul-yong, Choi Yong-soo and Kim Nam-il to the bench and this team will be 100% ready to go to war at anytime.
---------------Lee Woon-jae----------------- Choi Jin-chul--Hong Myung-bo--Kim Tae-Young Cha Bum Ken -- Hwang Sun Hong -- Park Ji-sung I dont know how the hell you guys pick these people out but after long time of thinking , I still cant decide my midfield for... but i have to with 3-4-3 as well and here are my nominees for mids that I cant decide Yoo Sang Chul, Ha Seok Joo, Lee Young Pyo, Ko Jung Woon, Kim Joo Sung, Noh Jung Yoon, I would also like to put Kim Nam Il or Song Chong Guk in there as well... Honorable mentions: Seo Jung Won, Choi Yong Soo, Kim Do Hoon

Yes, I think Vasco would be the best SK coach ever...haha oh wait, stupid me, Lothar Mattheus would be the best SK coach ever hahahhahahah No even better!!! Glenn Hoddle!!!
i've never seen them play, but i heard Choi Soon-Ho and Heo Jeong-Mu were great players. Did some research and both scored against Italy during the Mexico world cup. And profiles of Kim Joo-Sung who i think definitely should be included in the top 11. Choi Soon-Ho Apparently had multiple offers from Italian clubs in the 80s after his brilliant effort to place Korea in the semi finals of the 83 world youth tournement . But with the start of the Korean professional league and his army duties, things never worked out (as always). Played offensive midfielder. Heo Jeong-Mu Played 3 seasons for PSV. Had the honor of playing against Cryff. 77 matches in 14 goals as defensive midfielder doesnt seem too bad. Kim Joo-Sung Part of the three world cup teams from 86 through 94. Winner of Asian player of the year three times in a row. I think that about explains it. Played offensive midfielder, striker and defense towards the end of career. 3-4-3 -------------------Cha Bum-Keun--------------------- Park Ji-Sung -------------------------- Choi Soon-Ho -------------------Kim Ju-Seong -------------------- -----Lee Yong-Pyo-------------------Heo Jeong-Mu ---- -------------------Yoo Sang Cheol --------------------- Choi Jin-Cheol-------Hong Myung Bo-----------Kim Tae Young -------------------Lee Woon jae------------------------- 3-5-2 -----Cha Bum-Keun-------------Choi Soon-Ho--- --------------Kim Joo-Seong-------------------- Park Ji-Sung----------------------Song Chong-Guk ------Lee Yong-Pyo-----Yoo Sang Cheol---------- Choi Jin-Cheol----Hong Myung Bo------Kim Tae Young -------------------Lee Woon jae---------------------- The reason for 3-4-3 is because it's worked so well with us. 4-4-2 is impossible, because that formation requires crazy ass central midfielders and forwards who can score. Korea has neither. 3-5-2 is ok, but we would be wasting Lee YP's ability to go forward, The only bad thing about 3-4-3 is using Cha as a center forward instead of his natural winger position, but i think he's played that position for Korean NT. ANd if u look at our history, we really dont have anyone who can score goals.
out of these players: Choi Soon Ho and Huh Jung Moo, Hwang Sun Hong, Hong Myung Bo, Cha Bum Keun, Kim Ju Sung, Lee Hwe Taek, Kim Ho, Kim Jung Nam, Cho Gwang Rae, Park Ji Sung, Park Chang Sun, Ahn Jung Hwan and Lee Young Pyo, Lee Dong Guk, Ha Seok Ju, Ko Jung Su, Kim Tae Young, Choi Jin Chul, Song Jong Guk, Kim Nam Il, Lee Woon Jae, --------------Lee Woon Jae (Kim Byung Ji) --Song Jong Guk-----Hong Myung Bo------Kim Ju Sung (Lee Young Pyo)-- Park Ji Sung--Choi Soon Ho---Huh Jung Moo---Ha Seok Ju ----------Hwang Sung Hong---------Cha BOOM! subs: FW: Lee Hwe Taek, Seok Ki Hyun, Ahn Jung Hwan, Lee Dong Guk MF: Seo Jung Won, Lee Young Pyo (Kim Ju Sung), Park Chang Seon, Ko Jong Su DF: Kim Nam Il, Choi Jin Cheol, Kim Tae Young GK: Kim Byung Ji (Lee Woon Jae)
I know this an old thread and that it's no use for the papers. But I've wanted to come up with an all-time Korean NT best XI. Please excuse my substantial ignorance of KNT players prior to 2002. 4-3-3 ----------------------------Choi Soon Ho--------------- ---------J.S. Keep in mind that I don't mean to disrespect the players and coaches I've mentioned above (I actually like a lot of players I mentioned).

I didn't want to jinx JSR's dad because I am hoping that he improves as our GK coach (i was going to include him as GK coach). As for Yo Bonfrere, I saw him eating kimbap during a K-league match once so I felt sorry for him.
----------------CBK-------- --------SHM--------------- PJS---KSY---KNI---LCY LYP--HMB--CJC--CDR ------------LWJ------------
If I had to pick just 11 names (this is actually kinda hard) HSH CSH CBK PJS KNI YSC LYP HMB KTY SCG LWJ Or something like that.,
--------------------------------Cha Bum Keun Kim Joo Sung ------------ Ko Jong Su ------------- Park Ji Sung -----------------Yoo Sang Chul ---- Choi Soon Ho Lee Young Pyo --- Hong Myung Bo --- Kim Tae Young---- Song Chong Guk -------------------------------------Lee Woon Jae Ahn would be my joker and I'd always have a spot on the bench for a refined playmaker like Yoon Jung Hwan. Could play Ha Seok Ju as my left back and bench Song and switch LYP to the right. Upfront, I'd have Cha start but a place for Hwang on the bench. Lee Chun Soo to sub in for PJS if we need more attacking. Kim Nam Il and KSY on the bench as my CMs.
