    I invite you to review this message. As you know, it is not possible for a user to edit the messages after a few minutes in this forum, so you can check, by highlighting all the text, that there is a sequence in white letters set before the numbers were selected which will place everyone in a group:

    X4x11X1x5X3x8X12x7X6x2X10x9

    - Numbers preceded by a capital X will integrate Group A.
    - The others will integrate Group B.

    So that, we have already the groups defined for the tournament:

    Group A

    @Diez
    @JJMM1
    @msioux75
    @poetgooner
    @thebigman
    @tLB Odiseo

    Group B

    @heroearaucano
    @La-Máquina
    @OT_CAPITANO
    @PDG1978
    @Perú FC
    @Tom Stevens

    The first phase of the tournament will be defined by 2 hexagonal groups in which everyone will face each other in home and away matches.

    The first 2 teams in the final table of each group will qualify for the semifinals (where the first and second of each group will face, also in home and away matches) to go to the big final (also with home and away matches).

    You should make a thread per round.
    When can we start to veto?

    @Perú FC I think you said that the away team will choose to ban a player first in each game?

    If so, sorry @OT_CAPITANO you will have to play without Pele in game 1!
    The good news for you (and for me I guess - so it seemed the best tactical choice all round, also to ban him for my away game seemed better even if I probably wouldn't have been able to for the home one anyway) is that he can play in both games against all the other teams!

    If you changed the plan Peru and we are doing it secretly then of course I can choose again...and maybe it'd be someone different :whistling::unsure:....;):ROFLMAO:

    Good luck everyone - it should be a fun tournament!

    That's a good idea, so as not to get entangled with the matches.

    We start on Monday. For now I am waiting for @poetgooner to publish his ideal XI in the RANKING THREAD and start the respective voting.

    We will probably start the 1st Round and let's vote in parallel.

    Yes, the visitor will ban first and the local later. That will be public, the local will have the opportunity to know which player won't be able to use and counter it strategically by banning an opposing player, so announcing it early is fine.

    I'm already planning which player to ban Tom. I'm between Cruyff, Xavi or Charles.

    Touche!

    My team sheet appears to have been leaked now too (well, you get to see it before you make yours anyway!). No doubt I will add a few tactical comments and set piece instructions etc when Peru FC opens the new thread, but this is what I'm settling on without Ronaldo for the opening game basically.

    Do not anticipate posting!
    Lose the play's grace.

    Por cierto, ese dibujo se me hace parecido.

    @La-Máquina I am a visitor and that is why I must do the ban first.
    I want to ban Messi.

    I have a question. If any competitor can't publish his lineup for a match, it will use the lineup published in the Ranking thread??

    It would be an extreme situation, but in the case that a competitor does not publish his lineup or at least make an indication about whether he will go with his base XI (if none of his members are banned), he will lose by walkover by 0-2.

    In the case that both opponents were banned none would win points and 2 goals were deducted from their goal difference equally.

    Just for clarification @Perú FC - should we wait for all drafters to make their bans in all games, or just for the home and away ban to be announced in our particular game, before posting line-ups & tactics?

    The 48 hours time period for the away team begins after the home drafter announces his ban (or in this case for the first game when you posted them in the thread I guess)? Not when all bans have been made for all fixtures?

    I can go ahead soon if, and it's better today than tomorrow for me, but if we should wait until all bans have been announced then of course I can (and I might get longer anyway).

    Sorry, some things are made clear that I asked about (I'd read the new thread earlier but must have forgotten or skipped over it too quick!).

    This paragraph is the relevant one for my questions of course:

    "* Third, after both bans are done, all visitors must publish in this thread their lineups and may add tactical indications about their ideas for the proposal.
    (@Diez, @msioux75, @tLB Odiseo, @Perú FC, @PDG1978, @heroearaucano)
    The maximum period to submit a lineup will be 48 hours after having established all the bans (of all matches)."

    So we all have 48 hours maximum after both bans have occured for all matches. Maybe I'm still a bit uncertain if we should wait for all these bans before posting tactics & line-ups for our own game though (I guess it would be ok to go ahead and post, but I want to make sure it would not be preferred that I don't).

    By my calculations, at this point, only @JJMM1 is left to choose his ban for this first round of games now anyway.

    I am not in a rush anyway, but yeah if I was able to post tactics & line-up today in the new thread I probably would do.

    All those whose matches already have their banned players can already publish their lineups and tactics (visitors first, of course), it is not necessary to wait for all the bans of all matches (at this time all visitors can now publish their lineups except tLB Odiseo, who must wait for JJMM1's ban).

    What runs after all the bans have been done is the deadline to submit your lineups.
