Pavlina Scasna is exceptionally gifted, but I don't know if she's played enough yet to make a top 11... she's got the spin move which is almost as quirky as Blanco's ball hop move... she did it once against Atlanta, then twice against Dc... it seems she always does it when two defenders are on her, and she has no place to go
I am amazed at how she can handle the ball. Ive watched her warmup/goof off at the half the past 3-4 games, and some of the stuff she does with the ball is amazing. At one point during the game yesterday she looked like she overran the ball, but then she hit it with her heel and it flipped over her foot in stride to continue her run down the field. I hope we get to see a full season of her talents next year with Smith and Pichon up top!!! KSP
if you watch scasna juggle, she's probably the best control I've seen a woman have .... it's that in tight control, which most american players don't have... and that where the USA differs from many other places.... looking forward, as my gut says the Charge will be here in 2004: 1) does Zhao return...Hoffmann had a one year contract, which probably means Zhao is option A... 2) cat reddick ...best talent available in the draft, and if she's drafted, charge could go 3-5-2... 3) getting healthy up top....scasna and pichon and smith and arrington....basically we had one and everyone of them were hurt for at least 2 matches...that's where the charge suffered most...any team lose their scorers, it's tough to win...
