They want a veteran behind Rensing, so Kraft is not an option, he'll stay with the second team.

so you guys think with the borowski signing we will bring anyone in the summer beside a replacement for van buyten who may want to leave by then, i suspect metersacker to be the next bremen player to come to bayern

I want to know who started that business with Lehmann and Bayern Munich? That talk has drove me crazy!!! I think it was obvious from the start that he would never play for Bayern, even if he did buy a house in Munich. I see why Uli had to make that statement about how he was not coming to Bayern 'cause folks were getting ideas since Jen made a favorable remark.

ya, but he was only on loan from some Norwegian club to TFC, but he is Canadian. A few of my fellow TFC fans on this site didn't like him... but then again that is Toronto. If you don't know what that's like, think the incredibly unrealistic expectations of Bayern Munich fans, then multiply that by at least five (5) times. Being a TFC season ticket holder, I saw Kenny play, but I don't think he's Bayern material.

Actually, he really didn't start it. It was people who misinterpreted his favorable comments as meaning that he could end up at Bayern. When I read his comments I never got the impression that he could up at Bayern. Instead his comments where about how Bayern had become more open minded with the hiring of Klinsmann. It was a change in direction for the team and he was saying that because of this new change that he could see himself talking to them if they approach him, but he knew that would not happened. I think fans started joking about him coming to Bayern when Klinsmann got hired and it spread like fire and got out of control. Probably one reason why he addressed it in an interview.

it was the f*cking press, soon after Klinsmann became new coach they started gossiping about the FC Bayern as the new FC Deutschland. The Borowski signing certainly did foster their gossiping

The Ali Al Habsi rumours are really cool, I live in Oman and have seen him play several times live here. He is amazing and defientely underrated. It would be nice to see someone from the Gulf in Bayern.

I didn't know we where linked to this player. What position does he play?

I doubt Bayern will be too keen on picking up another "star" from the Asian leagues after the Karimi debacle.

he is the backup keeper for Bolton and he played for them against us and had a very good game. i thought about him maybe coming to us during that game but i forgot about it afterwards. he has been linked to us in the press yesterday and today and his agent said that he got offers especially from Germany.

sounds good since we will need a back up keeper next season, maybe a 3rd keeper too since i assume dreher will finally hang up the gloves also...but i would guess that the #3 would probably be a youth guy

Kraft will very likely be the 3rd guy.

And about the guy from Bolton. He is only 26, quite young to start a career as a backup.
Also Bolton's starting keeper didn't extend his contract and is likely to leave, so if this guy really is promising, Bolton might want to keep him.

After a horrible round for Almeria so far Fc Bayewn loans dos Santos to Gremio Porot Alegre. That's his 3rd loan after joining munich in 2006

    loan deal
accoridng to transfermarkt.de he only has contract till the end of the season. So he will leave anyway unless we give him a new contract, which will 99.99 % not happen.
It's a shame we wasted 2.7 million euros for his transfer.
