kudos n kudos...i think beckham needed Milan more than Milan needed becks...BUT its a win win situation..i think Milan should sumhow compensate the money for becks...for instance if his buyout clause is 10mil, milan should put up atleast half for him...granted he makes alotta money but there is no reason a man should have to pay to play sumwhere

And why not? Milan were suitors few years back before MLS switch, but he decided to move to California instead of Como.

we have some guys playing in qualifiers/friendlies. becks got 109th cap, zambrotta was ok, except he had one bad mistake that almost led to goal, and pirlo had a good match, probably motm versus montenegro.

tonight, kaka is out, but dinho should get some time i'd think

supposedly he could be back in about a month if need be, but if milan has nothing to play for the last couple of weeks, he will probably won't play much if at all until summer exhibition

The only thing is we will have to play for something, that is the 3rd spot (second I hope), considering the last month we face Roma, Udinese, Juve and Fiorentina - we will need all the help we can ge.

I dont agree, jpick. Gattuso will want to play as much as possible to get in shape for the confederations cup. And you know he wants to go. Borriello will want to stake a claim too, considering that the talent pool for the striker position for italy isnt that strong atm.

    ---

This is a lengthy interview with ancelotti where he refutes any possiblity of moving on, talks about borriello, dinho, and how we can build a future with kaka and pato.

Also mentions silva and said as strong and fast as thuram used to be and much better tactically...

goodness, i hope gattuso doesn't get called for that abomination of a tournament.

if ancelotti is correct and thiago silva is better than thuram in his prime, then he will be the best cb in serie a the first minute of the first match he steps on the pitch with only chiellini having an argument, so i hope ancelotti is right.

Its not the worst thing in the world. He has been out for 4-5 months now and if he doesnt play in the cup he could have 4-5 months more of inactvity. Thats not good for his physical nature. Might help him get in shape before a short break after which he returns to milan in pretty decent shape as opposed to 9 months of inactivity.

I think it would be a good idea for Guttuso to play in the Conf. Cup. As others have said, he's been out for quite some time and will be very eager to get back to the field. He's a true competitor and it's best for him to play asap. Provided he's healthy doesn't risk any further long term injury.

oh that was just a charity event for Stefano Borgonovo. It was a bunch of ex-players like leonardo, massaro and others that were playing.
