    No Devvyn Hawkins???

And their script is so brain dead that when you use the write-in slot, it still wants you to select 11 players from their lists. :(

I'll go out on a limb here and state that LeBlanc will be the starting 'keeper for the World All-Stars. ;)

    VOTE FOR ANN COOK DAMNIT!!!!

I sure hope they are doing another All-Star Gala. I wonder who I would have to bribe to sit at Ann Cook's table. Knowing my luck they'll stick me with Pichon or Prinz or Mia .

Yeah, this US-International setup is going to screw some good keepers and defenders out of an All-Star appearance just because they don't have a passport.

    depends on the season
does this not make sense to anyone else? how can we vote for all-stars 3 games into the season? no one is an allstar yet- there are players who haven't even arrived!!! i mean, great that it's good for media and will pull some $$$ but still- seems that true all stars won't be known for the rest of the season...

    anyway, enough griping for now.

and hey, i don't know if anne really counts- since she has her green card... plus she's a middie not a defender

This was my first thought. It is WAY too early to tell how a player is going to maintain form through the season. I mean, Jacqui Little has 6 pts from 3 games. I'm not slamming her but I doubt she going to keep that level of production. If she does, great for her and she should be an all-star. On the flip side, it might take someone a couple of games to acclimate and then their production might steadily increase over the course of the season. If they aren't a '99 vet, they probably won't make the all-star roster (or ballot).

I do think the US vs Internationals is iffy. The internationals in the league should already be the cream of the international crop. In theory, shouldn't the US all-stars be team USA, ie the folks who'll make the world cup team? It probably won't work that way (see Abby Womback) but wouldn't this just be a "world cup" tune up game with greater possibility for injury (in part because of the smack-down possibilities).
