Has Nesta been good lately? I think he is overrated -Cannavaro outshines him IMO

have you watched Murphy lately? on current form, there isn't anyone more influential on the right side of the pitch than Murphy....and who might you pick....Davies?

Magoo: Buffon and Cannavaro have been good so far this season. Nesta may not be in top form, but he's still better than most other people. RC no doubt belongs there, and Puyol is definitely good. RUI Costa has had an amazing season so far, and Rivaldo, although he hasn't been as good as everyone expected with Milan so far he was possibly the best player in the WC, which was only about 6 months ago. You can't deny that Veira has been good. Just look at where Arsenal are in all comps. Zidane is always good. The only thing I might doubt is my forwards. I think I'll leave Ronaldo becuase he had a great WC, but instead of Raul I'll have Crespo who is the leading scorer in the CL, Roy Makaay who is one of the leading scorers in CL and the leader in La Liga, or Inzaghi, the joint leader in CL and one of the leaders in the Serie A. So apart from Raul I don't know how my team is bad. You say it has to many big names. I wonder how all these players got big names? It's by playing well, which they are still doing, and I bet you anything my team could beat your team..... if they somehow played each other......

    On current form........ hmmmmmmm

Yeah i would pick Davies over Murphy, this first half of the season has been a gem for Simon, as now bigger clubs are taking notice in him.

Hyppia was a great pick though

agreed...Davies has had a great first half of the season, but the same can be said of Murphy as well. Danny has been the player of the season thus for, for Liverpool...and has single handedly kept the team in matches and single handedly won matches for Liverpool. That's the reason I've put him in my team...he's been in form, give's 100% the entire 90, can become the creative fulcrum in the midfield if needed and provides a deadly weapon on the flank or in the centre of the pitch.

Very true, but i wouldnt even say Murphy is the best on his team. That honor goes to Dudek. Did you see his game against Man U? Phenomenal!

yeah, when Dudek has been on, he's been unstoppable. But his dramatic dip in form has shown his weaknesses as of late...I just hope his confidence comes back quickly, cause we need him more than ever now.
