If Real does agree to play the MLS all stars will it be the Real Madrid we all want to see (Beckham, Zidane, Ronaldo, etc) or a stripped down version of reserves and back ups?

    Now in the USA
I'm fairly certain that the contract will stipulate that the "names" be there. Those players are the ones that will be heavily promoted. The only way they wouldn't play is due to injury.

Still no confirmation that they will be here. I guess with a new coach and having to play a Champions League Qualifier on 8/11 they may not make the trip. It would be a good warmup for them. Too bad Roberto Carlos won't be there. Still I hope they do come.

I would think it would be a chance to get in a good game in warm-up for the CL qualifictions. Playing a team in mid-season form would be a great warm-up.
