    Unless this totally redundant...

But just got in the mail today my notice that this years MLS All Star game is MLS All Stars vs. Guadalajara "Chivas" of Mexico.

If Chivas brings a decent squad this will be the most competitive game in MLS All Star history.

why is it only hockey and soccer are messing around with their respective all stars games every year?

Is it because of those dirty Foreigners?

you mean like baseball deciding that the winner of the All Star game will determine which league has home feild advantage in the World Series?

Was the email from the Galaxy? I didn't get that yet if it was.
The rumor around here was a double header with chivas playing boca then MLS someone else.

It's because no one is really intersted in an All-Star game in those sports. Look at the Pro-Bowl, it doesn't exactly get great coverage or attendance either.

Check out prices for the match.

    $65 sideline
    $45 corner
    $40 upper deck
    $35 endzone

I can't see spending any money on that match.

Info I got was from a ticket rep at the HDC. Call the G ticket office and you'll get the same info.

Thanks PZ. That Chivas vs. Boca thing sounded a bit strange. Guess someone tried to pull a fast one on us at Big Soccer for the first time. :)

Chivas (I think) played Univ de Catholica (I think) in the second part of the All-Star double header in San Diego a few years back.

I got a letter in the mail about this match. I think the front office is sending out this invitation to those season seat holders first.

    20 game holders
    10 game holders
    5 game holders

they get first chance to buy tix for the match before they go on sale to the public june 23rd.

and at the prices mentioned above.
