No problem lobomojo, I wasn’t able to do as much also since we got a new puppy who requires constant supervision (otherwise our house would literally become a chew toy, we already have a 1800’s antique table destroyed by dog chewing already, but if you change your mind next season we’d be happy to have you join the league again, but if not that’s no problem. I was going to get to an update.... Lot's of changes this year (for the better), with several active and competitive teams. Top Shelf, Joga B, and JBT4 added serious points to the league table. Sasha Jrs (after two 1st place regular season finishes), dropped to 3rd in the final standings (although still had the highest overall points), while Los Pupitos (after two 2nd place regular season finishes), finally climbed to the top the table, albeit with some helpful scheduling given 4th overall points. And, after back to back final matchups (won by Los Pups!), neither Sasha Jrs nor Los Pupitos can make it back to the final and we will have a new champion this year!!!!! This year’s champion is JBT4! Close final vs Top Shelf to cap off a great playoffs and season. The trophy is now getting ready to have the new champion’s name added and I’ll post it later this week.
Just realized the MLS season is starting next week so created our MLS All-Rockstars league for this season. League code is 674XEZPZ, hope to see you all there soon so we can keep it to eight All-Rocks teams!

Great to hear you’re both coming back, and as defending champ JBT4 will have a chance to defend his title if he wants to join us again. Impressive win last year for him so hopefully he’ll be interested in going for a repeat. My son is interested in playing again, so he’ll have his team ready to beat me again this season. If Lobomojo wants to rejoin us that would be great too, but no problem if not (and appreciate that he gave a heads-up about it), I sent a message to the main All-Rocks thread if anyone wants to join so then that will fill out the 8 spots. And if more want to join we can always expand it to more teams as well (as long as it ends up an even number of teams). If we wind up with 9,11,13, etc number of teams I can always talk my wife into making a team as well(and she’ll probably place higher than my team too, even though she’s never played fantasy soccer before
I contacted Epikoinos from the Sand League to see if he’d be interested. He has the RSL logo on his profile picture so looks like he might be a good choice for getting the 8th team. Hopefully he’ll be interested since I’m looking to set the 8 teams by end of this weekend (since the season starts in only a couple days, next wed is the kickoff game). Interesting that the season start is so early, in Miami next week won’t be an issue but here in Philly we’re getting snowfall just about every week (I guess it’s time to get out the orange ball for the first match or two here). Well, getting close to our 8 teams now: myself (Stormin Union), Los Pupitos, Joga Blakerito FC, Sasha Juniors, my son (Mighty Quinn FC) are the 5 teams in so far. Hoping we add Top Shelf, JBT4 and Epikoinos for the final 3 to add to set the league for the season. Thanks
no word back yet from Epikoinos so will ask my wife today if she can make her team so that’ll give us six teams, top shelf will make 7 teams and hopefully if interested the defending champ JBT4 will make 8 to set our league for the new season starting in 3 days. Getting close now to having our league ready to roll
No dice on my wife adding a team, she won’t be active with it so doesn’t make sense anyway. So we’ll need 3 more as of now, hopefully top shelf, his son and another all-rocks member. Epikoinos might still join (looks like he hasn’t been on the big soccer site since Friday so might not have seen my message to him yet). Either way we’ll be fine to start the season on week one, if we’re under the 8 teams I’ll open it up to public to get the rest if necessary. The first All-Rockstars season we did this, not the preferred route but it worked out fine then, so if we need to do that again it’s no problem (and maybe new members might want to join all-rocks also, since after the season we’re always looking for new members as well). I’ll see where we’re at by tomorrow if we don’t have the eight by then I’ll open it up, stay tuned!
Haven’t heard from either Top Shelf, JBT4 or Epikoinos so planning to open the league to public soon to have the remaining three teams (so we can have regular playoffs which require 8 teams). I’ll wait a few more hours if anyone else wants to join from all-rocks and then I’ll change the league setting to public and cap at 8 teams to get our league set with the 8 teams needed for this Wednesday’s MLS season start. Looking forward to the new season

Alright. Now we need to remind ourselves to fix the team before any deadlines, but registered and in the league. I think that made 7 teams.

Was hoping the 8th team would be All-Rocks but doesn’t look like there were any takers when I posted on various all-rocks threads over the past few days. The flip side is maybe the 8th team follows epl, if so we can maybe see if they want to join all-rocks next season if there is an open spot (which I’m sure there will be).
If we don’t get a 8th team through the public route, I might take you up on that offer for a placeholder team. I’ll check by tomorrow afternoon if a team has joined, if not then if you can please make that placeholder team. I’ll keep you posted on it, thanks!
Actually no need for the placeholder team but thanks for offering that, we just got our 8th team (St. Louis fan with team name Car Ok FC) so we’re good to go now to start the new season with the 8 team playoff structure in place as well. We're 7 gameweeks in and everyone has now played each other once. With Round 1 of the 2024 season completed, the standings are (W/D/L): Los Pups -- 7-0-0 = 21 pts // 614 Top Shelf -- 5-0-2 = 15 pts // 596 Joga B ----- 5-0-2 =15 pts // 585 4 Bananas -- 4-0-3 =12 pts // 571 Sasha Jrs --- 4-0-3 =12 pts // 563 Stormin U --- 1-0-6 = 3 pts // 389 Mighty Q ----- 1-0-6 = 3 pts // 339 Car Ok FC -- 1-0-6 =3 pts // 313 Round 2 kicks off this weekend and includes Los Pupitos hosting Top Shelf..... It looks like there are 27 weeks, so leaving 25-27 for the playoffs, it will be 3 rounds and then 3 additional games into round 4 for the regular season.....
