As an MLS fan first and a Rapids fan second, I wish your team the absolute best of luck tomorrow night against Real Madrid. This is truly a historic match in which I hope the Galaxy and you fans, represent MLS to the absolute best of your ability. This may be just a mere warmup for Real Madrid but for many of these players sans Beckham this will be their first real look into American soccer. Hopefully even if the Galaxy lose we have an absolute blast (I say we because I'm watching this live tomorrow, hehe), and that we take from this matchup where we all can go as MLS clubs one day. The best of luck to you and go MLS!
Will Tyrone Marshall be rested enough after his stint in the gold cup to start and play significant minutes?
As an MLS fan with no club affiliation, I pledge my full support to the Galaxy in this match. Make us all proud.
Yeah, I'll definitely be tuned in on the East Coast and pulling for the Galaxy! What a memorable night it should be and hopefully for all the right reasons...
This outpouring just warms the cockles of my heart. LOL I'm actually going to leave choir rehearsal 30 minutes early tomorrow night to catch this game. I hope there are no repercussions for on HIGH. G-g-g-g ........ G-g-g-g ........... ahem .............. Goooooooooo Galaxy.
As a Metrostars supporter, I'm behind you guys to beat Real Madrid tomorrow night, just to prove that Soccer in the U.S. has truly come a long way. I have great respect for Real Madrid and their fans, but beating them or at least playing to a well played draw will show everyone how great a league we have and that we can produce great clubs here. GOOD LUCK GUYS!!!
I am almost too nervous to watch the match. I wish Donovan were playing. Play your hearts LA, out for you are representing all of MLS. I'll also be rooting for the Fire against AC Milan and DC United against Chelsea. Go Galaxy!!
You guys really should have checked with us first. Doesn't matter the location, the opponent, or the weather. Galaxy friendlies are strictly for comedy purposes only. I'm not saying you've all bet on Huckleberry Hound to win the Kentucky Derby...it looks like Real is going to give it the full 15% tomorrow night. I'm just saying that the Galaxy aren't the sort of squad that brings a knife to a tickle-fight.
This is an important stretch for MLS over the next two weeks. LA Galaxy vs Real Madrid, Chicago Fire vs AC Milan, and of course DC United vs Chelsea. It's been a long time coming. And I think we are all anxious to see how we stack up against the biggest clubs in the world. During these important matches we stand together as Americans, and as a league. So tomorrow night we are all LA Galaxy Supporters. Now go out there and kick some La Liga ass so we can all get back to hating you Tuesday morning.
Actually, I think Real Madrid will come out and play hard against the Galaxy, so I look forward to it. By the way, after the practice, the media lined up for hit and run interviews in the tunnel with Los Galacticos. David Beckham could not have been nicer and more accomodating. Some of the others were not so kind, although many did stop briefly for quick words with the hordes of media. This is surely more than just a friendly.
I'm rooting for u guys too, but it would be so much better if Donovan was playing. I'd love to watch him rip holes in the completely crap Real Madrid defense. Is Woodgate playing? Cause if so i definitely retract that last statement lol.
Thanks again. I will support the MLS teams as well. Im hoping for a win. I believe it can be done. I think the world needs to see how far MLS has come. Good luck to DC and Chicago Fire. GO GALAXY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
