Yeah we absolutely need to win the league next season, to make us competitive we’re probably one jigsaw piece away in midfield, and that can happen without even buying anyone. We haven’t won the league in two years to a Barca who play the likes of Eric Garcia, that young DM I can never remember the name of, etc in midfield. Losing the next league title would be an incredible achievement considering our competition isn’t anywhere near peak.

We need to stop acting like our problems boil down to one player it isn’t Mbappe It isn’t Vini either Our best players are not our main problem no matter how much we try to make those narratives work we lost legendary players and people think that was the norm
Until we see some results; Mbappe, Vinny, Jude, Tchoumeni, Fede, Cama….. all can be sold for I care. None of them have shown to be worthy of wearing the kit for the last two seasons.

One has to go and mbappe is just the better footballer you so you take out Vini, given his contract demand and his unwillingness to sign a new deal 7 months before he can negotiate with someone else on a free.
