Lol the same "players" that said they lost trust in Carlo Ancelotti (Apr 2025) and don't trust Arbeloa's tactics and substitutions (Feb 2026). When he wasn't crying while on film, Junior admitted in his documentary [rated 4/10 on IMDb] that he would intentionally stay up the pitch to avoid Carlo giving him instructions. DAZN had several videos of him, Camavinga and Bellingham repeatedly ignoring and ridiculing Carlo. Then there were several reports, including from The Athletic, saying that Vinicius was not particularly thrilled about Xabi's hiring late in 24/25 and postponed his renewal until after the CWC for that reason. One of the influential figures (we know who it is) joked about him failing to run the circus before he even arrived. Junior's initial disdain started the moment he learned he would be on the bench vs PSG in the CWC–Xabi's 6th game in charge–he immediately began leaking his "discomfort" to Cortegana via his entourage. So please, do us a favor and spare us the "coaches failed to communicate to him" sermon.
Note that i didn't speak about Vinicius in specific. Courtois also showed very ugly character signs in speaking up and then swallowing his tongue when things got hard instead of standing up for his guy. That in itself tells me that Tibo is either a front runner or Xabi lost everybody including him. Everybody failed, either way. I'm not going to distinguish who failed better or worse.
Hahahaha brother, why did you post the IMDb rating in that comment? I totally didn’t expect it and laughed so hard

Yes; a model professional who flushed our season down the drain with his tantrum in the most important game of the season when we were on our way to winning La Liga. But keep drinking the Koolaid...
Wow hyperbole galore. There were more than two thirds of the game left. Would we have called it the most important part of the season if it'd happened against Atleti many weeks prior too
He's was subbed with 15 minutes to go or so? Or are we talking 2/3rd of the second half, because even that would be incorrect.

Why are you trying to make him look like he had a positive relationship with a coach he himself admitted that he didn't?
I'm not sure a renewal of Vini would be the big news that distracts from the drama. In fact, I'd argue it may even add to it. Probably the biggest news this club can use after the Clasico is the announcement of the new manager, and that manager needs to be a big name.
let Mourinho rebuild things a bit and make us competitive again (hopefully win something). Next coach after him will take over a better situation hopefully.
