Financially speaking, there has to be some sign-on/loyalty bonus added to this renewal that will make it make sense for Vinicius. Cause if he just runs the contract down and leaves next year, he is guaranteed not just a good salary but a massive sign-on bonus elsewhere.

Do you guys think Florentino wants to resolve this issue by approving a big bonus while keeping Vini's salary lower than Mbappe's? Cause if reports are true, this renewal is not just about the salary but also status within the squad.

If there will be a big bonus for Vini, how much do you think this affects our transfer market plans this summer, especially in a world cup year with inflated post WC prices.

A lot of "ifs", I know, just speculating here.

If he extends good, he is a difference maker and clutch and one of the best in the world at his position, if not the best.

If he leaves, good. We couldn’t pay him what he wanted and perhaps we end this Mbappe Vini conundrum and we definitely have less drama

So I won’t stress about reports, not my money, and a win win situation

4x4s previously said Plettigol is a joke in Germany. Wait for Mario to report if Vini camp has come to an agreement. They kept denying JFD claims of Vini renewal done reports for a year and half through Mario.

Unpleasant situation is that until we find a coach that wins titles at RM, Vini will be the number 1 booing target of Bernabeu when RM isn't doing well. Because of what happened in the Clasico. How long before he gets fed up with his home stadium treating him that way?

Mario's latest article claiming no progress in contract renewal due to financials involved.

You don’t get stuck on negotiations for almost 2 years if you’re not looking to run down your contract, which is fair enough it’s the players decision, and the clubs chance to act before you lose him for free.

I don't know if that is the case and I'm beginning to wonder if some of the bitterness from our own fans actually originated from this contract situation.

In the end if we lose him it's a massive loss and the idea we automatically will get better is lost on me when we have seen Mbappe for years not be able to win in CL when partnered with lesser players.

I think the gulf between the club and Vinny’s management is still too large.

I’ve been saying this for awhile but I think they are intending to wind down the contract and get a massive sign on fee, either at a new club or at RM.

I don’t see this playing out any other way.

For sure massiveo lost if he leaves, but you can't seny that mbappe and Vinnie don't play well together.
Everytime one of them didn't play, the other was shining.
If both of them stay there will be zero improvement next season regardless of the coach.

Dropped 2 points, potentially 11 points behind Barcelona and surely lost LaLiga BUT Junior scored a rebound..

Let’s get Zaccagni and Abde then. :ROFLMAO:

Football is one of those sports, stats say shit. Eye test is way more reliable.

It’s time for you to find another sport where you can back your points with these little stats.

The one you mentioned is useless if Zaccagni, probably a player you have never seen play, is first in your list lol.

Than comes Abde at 4, I have rarely see a player this blind. Runs takes on defenders and than manages to give the ball back to opposition.

Eye test is only reliable when it’s convenient. I read often enough how horrible Vini was all season with his lack of goals being cited before the new year, but he was quite good without scoring or assisting too much. Then the goals come and it’s about “eye test.”

Talking about Abde and Zaccagni is missing the forest for the trees. It’s like a criminal lawyer looking at one piece of evidence and being like “oh, so now anyone with fingerprints is a murderer?!”

When it comes to Vini some of you guys just like to turn off your brain.
