Not that he was our worst player, in fact he had a couple of good moments, but when your priority is to argue with your own fans after losing a ball - instead of tracking back... It's not a good look.
For several games he's had 0 defensive contributions to ensure that he's "happy". Last night he lost 25 balls (35% of all touches) and was only successful in 7 out of 16 dribbles. And his crosses? Lol. Maybe Arbeloa didn't breastfeed him before the Getafe game? I've honestly had enough of his antics, there is always something every single effing game. Then he cries, uses the victim card and says I only want to play football *sniff sniff*. Watching this MF is harder than fasting in Ramadan.
Odd they claim there is no correlation for some yet you had to say what you said. Also, what is funny is the guy who had to wait games to let out his frustrations in multiple posts after Vinicius finally didn't have a great match. I know the wait had been hard on him. What they see Vinicius as is actually what they are.
" Vinรญcius came up to me and said 'very good substitution .' He doesn't need to come and say that to me, he doesn't need to come and provoke me. There's nothing to explain, that's what he told me, and I told him to just focus on playing," Bordalรกs confessed to Movistar Plus+ microphones after the match. He wasn't the only one who criticized the Brazilian during the first leg. "That's why everyone hates you, learn from your teammates," Juan Iglesias told him . And that's why, at the end of the match at the Bernabรฉu, Nyom went straight to the Real Madrid bench to dedicate the victory to Vinicius . He had been holding a grudge from the first leg, and a scuffle broke out in the technical area. AS reporting
Vini needs to pack is bags Way too much baggage He gets the ball, tries to dribble everyone, loses it and then complains to the ref, his team mates or the fans. One dribble out of 8 isnโt football. This guy never developed passed head down and run tactics and Kroos / Modric and Benzema advising him what to do.
Junior is an entitled infant whose petulant antics have been sanctified by Gramps 'Maybe-I-Spoiled-Them' Perez. And he's somehow convinced that he's disliked because of his skin color when the fact is he would be picked on even if he was red or green. He provokes Spanish fans with Segunda gestures then crys wolf, thinks freedom of expression and Baila-ing only applies to him because he's such a "decisive" baller and the BDO was promised to him. Never have I seen a RM player dribble like a moody little bitch, get dispossessed then start a fight with his own fans and blame them for his futile, limited gimmicks that he repeats over and over..
It's pretty easy to understand isn't it? Being terrible to others doesn't justify racism. But it totally justifies them treating you the way you treat them. Vaya Nyom. Good guy in my book. You can decide for yourself if this is the attitude you can identify with or not. I find it nauseating. Great player or not. People that spent years of their life here talking trash about Barca DNA and Busquets trying to paint people that can't stand this kind of attitude as bad people need to look at themselves first.
The point of trash talking is to throw off your opponent and to take advantage. When our team is trash, our form is trash, and Vini embarrass himself routinely every game with failed dribbles and shots, what exactly is he trash talking about. If anything seems like his team is thrown off by all the petulance, I dont remember having that many red cards in one season for unsportsmanlike conduct as we have had so far. The petulance and the complaining is infectious.
Iโd enjoy watching the team more if this guy is gone. He had mad support from the fan base for many years and rightly so, but enough is enough. Rebuild the whole attack to accommodate Mbappe. Mastantuono, Gonzalo, Brahim, Rodrygo coming from an ACL (and already in big decline before anyway), can be back ups.
What I see is when we trash talk some crap on our team yet the same praise and rationalize anyone... literally anyone who says trash talk our players or club. What I also understand is everything we do is magnified with the fanbase. We apparently are the only ones who suffer this or that or lose, draw, etc... In the end most (not all) comes from a place of subjectivity and not objectivity. Had Getafe's GK not gave made 3 WC saves we would have won easy and this thread would be dead like it has been the last match.
Dude what are you talking about? Its not subjective to say Vini is constantly provoking and complaining. Even when he was having good seasons he has been like this, its hurting him and the team.
The people who throw nazi salutes at cameras say the exact same things. You seem very happy to remind people of certain ugly parts of the club's history. So, on the one hand, we shouldn't throw stones in glass houses, but on the other, you draw the line at "...nice sub." Talk about self-reflection.
You said all that to not make a single point. Part of being an adult fan of the club is coming to terms with whether you feel comfortable with the club's past, and recent history, politically. This isn't being a child anymore where you just like the game and the players. When it comes to Vini, he's a great player, but he doesn't respresent the "olympic/fairplay" values at all. We looked away when Pepe was trying to behead people (or Keylor when he held migrant workers in his basement threatening them with deportation), so i'm not going to expect people to be outraged about Vinicius as long as he plays well, but pretending he's just a kid that wants to have fun is just too naive for me.
What is subjective to say is it immediately hurts the team yet as you have said he has constantly been this way and we have won with him. What has hurt this team is the lack of certain personnel players and the need for every manager to win every match depending on the individual brilliance of two players. When those two players make it happens the mob calms. When they can't, the mob is enraged and pinpoint every body action, hair style, etc as the reason why they aren't good and need to be sold because we would be better off if GG or Arda got the minutes.
Excuse me but wtf? How did I never hear about that... As for Vini, he's been playing much better since the big booing. Will that last though? I keep saying, his problem is mental/ego. When he plays hero ball he sucks the life our of games, when he plays for the team he assists AND manages to score goals and is decisive. Whether people like it or not he is one of the best in his position when his head is screwed on. But that's the issue right now with him and his extension. Which Vini are we getting, and is the bet worth it... Aside from the Bernabeu fans, who's keeping him accountable? I competely understand people who think it's an unreasonable gamble to invest in him. If we sell him, we will most likely not fill that void right off the bat. But at least we will get a good fee and save a lot in our salary budget for what is possibly a depreciating asset. Character wise, he's extremely polarizing, and generally disliked amongst football fans who are not Madridistas or Selecao fans. It'd be nicer if he was a likeable guy, and maybe privately he is, but on the pitch he certainly makes it harder for people to like him.
We overprocess this, but i settled on the fact that if he'd be playing for an opponent, Madrid fans would fervently dislike him. Which again, doesn't justify any kind of racial abuse, but he'd get the Diego Costa treatment for SURE.
"3 players are marking me, I can't do anything" "I'm tired, I play 1 game a week" But also "Don't sub me out, don't rotate me, I decisive, I do 10x" ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ู ุชุฑุฌู โ ุงูููุงููุณ |ููููุณููุณ ูุดุชูู ูู ููุฏู : ููุงู ุซูุงุซุฉ ูุงุนุจูู ูุฑุงูุจููููุ ูููุฐุง ุงูุณุจุจ ูู ุฃุชู ูู ู ู ูุนู ุดูุก !!! https://t.co/9VtMbW1M7J— ู ุญู ูุฏ ู ุฌูุฏ (@MMajeedX) March 7, 2026
