Relentless. His energy is his best quality. He just keeps coming at you in every way. Does stupid shit along the way, but ultimately you can't handle the volume of pressure he puts on you. He will eventually get it right.
Vini was tearing Barca apart in the first half and then Xabi pulls him off like he’s some kid in training. You can see why Vini was fuming. I agree running his mouth isn’t classy, but come on, he was in full flow. Rodrygo is fine defensively but swapping Vini there killed our momentum. Xabi’s decision reeks of overcaution at times. Trusting a guy who’s owning the pitch would’ve been the smarter play.
Hes back to his best and it was a mistake by Xabi to take him off and not Mbappe. Sure it was an overreaction but were used to Vini's tantrums by now. I doubt Xabi will hold a grudge, it will be the usual "hes very passionate and hungry, he always wants to play, he had a great game I undestand his frustration, its all good".
He has been good this season,goals assist but also looks like he can beat players again. For so many montsh he looked like he didnt even believe he can beat a player it was embarasing but now he looks like he is hungry again .He is making good runs again,looks faster than last season. He is exciting to watch again
Seems like Vini works himself up during these games and just plays off that chaotic aggressive energy. But the issue with that kind of energy is that it isn’t easily harnessed, it takes years of practice, so it overflows into his whole day. His reactions are overly exaggerated because he’s on the absolute limit of losing control all the time. That’s the area he thrives in but the rest of world isn’t on that vibration man. He needs to see consequences for leaving the bench. That’s a big no-no for me. You can’t leave your brothers out there while the game is still going on. He needs a fine or even a suspension.
Vinny wasn’t tracking and walking. Sorry but I commend Xabi for having the stones to haul him off. We don’t have the luxury of having him pick and choose when effort is needed.

I wouldn't bench him as we are in a good moment and doesn't need drama in the media. Xabi should make it clear leaving the bench is a no no and will have consequences if it happens again.
Its not like Mbappe is some heavyweight target man, hes still a roaming forward so I do expect him to defend just as much as Vinicius. They are both primadonnas but Vinicius is putting the biggest shift. In fact adjusted to their position its Bellingham who is the laziest out of the three, but Mbappe comes second and Vinicius third. All three should do more but in that order.
The tantrum is one thing leaving the bench is another and that definitely should not be swept under the rug it’s not about you my dude, it’s about the team But I don’t think something major or public needs to be done. Talk to him, make him apologize internally, tell him if it happens again he will be punished, and move on
He barely caved in to usual Barca provocation tactics. He didn’t argue with ref or chat shit to linesmen. He also returned back to the bench after having stormed out earlier after the sub. No need to blow this out of proportion imo

Vini and Rodrygo used to be close from 2019-24. Wonder if that dynamics has changed as minutes Rodrygo is getting under Xabi comes at the expense of Vini.
We’ll never find out on the pitch though it seems! I think they’ve shared like 30 minutes of playing time together this season. My theory at the start of the season was that Rodrygo has ruled himself out as a RW, and will only be used there if he’s already on the pitch and we’re desperate for a goal, which won’t happen often. It looks to be true, so far, but let’s see how it progresses.

Kudos to Rodrygo. All that Vini tantrum was very narcissistic when Rodrygo was about to get 15 minutes in Clasico after he had to spent majority of this season on the bench I know Vini was pissed about being taken off, but understand what Rodrygo has been going through who's been a friend since youth team days and show some restrain.
