He usually doesn’t fool the keeper the wrong way, or doesn’t place them that well. But I don’t really mind since the shot still goes in. Until he misses a couple, I’m good. The main thing is confidence. And he seems to have plenty of that.
Vini is not the star player. We have 5 star players (Vini, Mbappe, Jude, Carvajal and Courtois) and then 2-3 almost star players. This team isn't built to have one star.
Wow. I didn't realize all those guys had won multiple Champions league trophies scoring in multiple finals as well as currently holding the title of champions league best player the season. Endrick is looking like a star in the making, ditto Guler. I think Bellingham definitely has that star player potential, just needs time to establish himself. Then there's Rodrygo, Modric, Valverde, etc , but they are all really just support players for Vini.
Yeah... i mean best right back and best goalkeeper in the world don't make them stars. You're not worthy of respect or leadership unless you score goals. Carvajal is the unquestioned leader of the team. He's the top dog.
Roy Keane had respect and leadership. He wasn’t a star of that United team although he was probably the key component to it. Beckham was the star of that team but Keane was the most fundamental player. Star power has nothing to do with competence or ability or leadership, it’s essentially just the ability to get eyeballs on your product. Carva is not a star, sorry.
If I recall correctly we almost landed Roy Keane after he left United, I wish we would have been able to get him sooner though as he was pretty much done at that point physically although a lot of European clubs were still after him. Great player.
Best player on the planet to me right now. The last game was phenomenal from him. He came on and completely decided the game. I know some pockets are pushing hard for anybody for Vini to win the BdO. But I believe he fully deserves it.
It's mostly from EPL and Messi supporters who are into the EPL is tah bez or don't want a Madrid player to win. Hence, the unusual pushing of a DM to win the Balon'dor.
Toma crack, Vinicius con 17 años. pic.twitter.com/E0uEv3yAyO https://t.co/uxe6ywe4Fy— Fran (@FJRealMadridCF) September 22, 2024
What kind of hurt Vini's chances was the combination of Spain winning the Euro and him absolutely melting with Brazil in the same summer.
I can see why and how, but it feels like ignoring the favorite just to be fashionable. I don't expect Vini to win via landslide, but he has an edge.
Vini Jr should win the Ballon Dor for this performance alone pic.twitter.com/8xFyj2KKRh— Rk (@RkFutbol) September 23, 2024 Reminiscing
❗️Paco Roig (former president of Valencia): "Vinicius is a very good player and a great person who lights up society. He's a great player, but as a person he's a piece of sh*t. Romario was half black and had no problems. I call Madrid the Real Immigrant." pic.twitter.com/xKK24GsTDh— Madrid Universal (@MadridUniversal) September 23, 2024 What's this guy even rambling about. I swear that country is littered with racists. My word
This guy is a legend: "I tried to buy a match through an agent, who tricked me. He said he's very close to the referee, I gave him the 3 million, and then in the 5th minute the referee awarded a penalty against Valencia."
If you call someone a piece of shit, you're not being racist tho. Unless you think that insult applies to black people only, which would make YOU the racist here.
Nah, the "listen, let me explain" doesn't cover Roig. Being this hateful makes the kind of is pretty irrelevant. I was surprised somebody asked him what he thinks
Good god, Hector. Read the rest of the quotes before you defend this guys. Non-racists don't need to separate out the blacks from the white foreigners.
