That's exactly my point. Things have been improving. Yet, militants are getting more and more aggressive overtime. What do these people want? I know what they want but I won't say it.

I'm all for being nice to each other, but that's not what militants want.

I am not sure things have gotten worse. I think it depends on what you're measuring. I'd say there has been a lot of progress in the last 100 years. These things aren't always linear IMO and not everything will be solved. And not fixing something 100% shouldn't make one say it's all pointless because there is room for improvement.

Or they just used to call a spade a spade.

You don't want to go down this slippery slope.

Not going to ruin the thread with this nonsense so I’ll move on. All I know is that something that is so important to someone else that is ABSOLUTELY harmless to me, than I’ll just let that person be instead of riding a high horse and telling that person how to live their life so that I am comfortable with it

    but let’s move on

Pretty hypocritical argument considering you just rode your own high horse before trying to have the last word in.

    Now let's... move along.

If you wouldn't know anything about Vinicius you'd think the guy is completely insignificant in football considering that it's the least popular topic in his own thread.

Well he did make the racism issue bigger than himself right?

    At least this is consistent.

The debate isn't moving a single inch here. In honor of this being the NFL first week of the season everybody involved would be best advised to punt it rather than keep going for it on 4th down.

It's so obvious in what thought bubble/camps a lot of people are that it just becomes boring and repetitive reading.

Part of Jordan Love's leg is probably still stuck in that football pitch they played on.

That's a major issue with NFL teams playing in Europe: Brady said the Allianz Arena is the worst surface he ever played football on. The football pitch in europe is designed for the ball to glide effortlessly as teams pass from side to side. The NFL turf is supposed to be the opposite.

I wonder whether this will impact the World Cup in the US as NFL stadiums are used and passing teams have to adapt to a different surface.

I've lived in multiple countries, multiple times, across multiple continents, and travelled extensively, "so we're clear."

I was pointing out the contradiction in your post, not suggesting America should be a "general benchmark how to behave" (what a ridiculous straw man). I will say that despite its ongoing problems, America has done an impressive job of integrating significant numbers of many cultures and ethnicities from around the world, almost certainly due to its nature as a country of immigrants.

Vini disagrees, he's a lifelong NFL fan. Endrick's favorite player is actually Phil Simms.

Hoping for a Vini hattrick these next few games. He is getting destroyed and rightfully so right now.

You would think having much less quality around you actually matters.

Not sure if this was taken into account at all, but Corinthians played a home game just five days before that NFL game in Brazil. Looking it up, I see Bayern played a home game five or so days before that Bucs/Seahawks game as well in 2022. Interesting. It's not the job of the federations to adapt to the NFL, it's the NFL that needs to adapt to them (although it would be worth noting in both cases that the NFL schedule was released months before those soccer games were scheduled).

Wembley of course has hosted their fair share of NFL games as well, infamously there was a Spurs/City game played the day AFTER an NFL game, although in that case that was entirely the fault of Spurs and their delayed stadium construction/opening.

I don't get it. Looked like a contact injury rather than something about the pitch.

I think Vini will have a fate similar to Marcelo. Early retirement from NT due to a lack of connection with the shirt despite extreme quality. It happens. R9 was the opposite.

R9? He was great at both club and country or you mean even after injuries?
