It's the ticket availability for the area around the traveling supporters section at TQL. So: yes. Crew fans have been buying tickets.

What is encouraging to me is that between Game 1 and Game 2 Nancy was able to figure out how to play against Cincy and they didn't have an answer. With a likely reinforcement in the confidence to get forward and know that you will be covered. In the first half, especially, it was often the ball was out right or left and there were 3 or 4 players in the box and another 4 or 5 on the edge trying to keep the ball in their third, only one defender back. I think the commentary team summed it up in the second half, when we again dominated, it was suffocating them.

It's easy to say we beat a 10 man team, but we were well on top until then.

You know what, I'd love to buy into the idea that we've cracked the code, and we blew Cincy out because we simply are sooooooo much better than them. But I can't.

It's not exactly a secret that the Crew defense hasn't been airtight lately. And Cincy isn't really known for winning pretty. They grind wins out, and do it ugly. So on the road, against the team that has more possession than anyone in MLS but hasn't been turning it into goals, they probably had the gameplan that they were going to stay organized and try to hit us on the counter. Which, frankly, ain't bad strategy. The Crew didn't exactly break their defense down; they forced a sloppy turnover and cashed in on it. And then scored three goals while up a man.

We were absolutely the better team even before the sending off, but we've played plenty of games this season where that amounted to nothing. I'm not ready to declare us to be off to the races just yet.

    That is certainly fair.

But one thing that was different last night was that they created NOTHING. Nit in the buildup, not in the counter, not from a set piece. Nothing. The Moreira/Schulte almost OG was as close as they came. No shots on goal. Their only shot was so meek that it wasn't even credited as a shot at the time.

Yes, clearly they wanted to hit us on the counter. Yes, Kubo got sent off. But that was what, 38 minutes in? 40% of the game was gone. We played nearly 15 minutes before they had and real possession in our half. And precious little danger off turnovers or in possession.

That was the main difference for me. I think part of it was better buildup & pressing with Rossi/Taha/Picard together up top. Part of it was we wanted it more & needed it more. And part was they were subpar and missed Haggland. And Orellano.

Some of that won't be replicable in Game 3. The intensity gap, certainly. But I think the more effective buildup, better pressing, and better movement & passing from us can be. A goal and an assist has to be good for JRR's confidence. Ditto Chambost for his FK goal. And they will miss Kubo. Rossi's stamina & timing should be better.

If Haggland cannot go, that would help us a lot.

Picked up a pair near the Nordecke section for $51 a ticket with fees. Look forward to crushing the dreams of Cincy fans once again when it matters most.

Jealous of you all going to cincy. Always enjoyed those away games. The family is moving back to Ohio next year, so I'll be excited to resume going to them.

Im not saying that Nancy is Urban Meyer but I think we have gotten inside the head of Nonnan and FCC. They should come out with much more effort and energy but they seem to hang their heads or lose them when things don’t go their way. They play that gritty low scoring style which I expect us to be much more aggressive and force a more up and down game. Last time we gave up to much possession in Cincy and appeared more conservative. It’s win or season over and the pressure is really on them. I think we will see another mental collapse per usual. I saw some poll someone posted and their fan base is not that confident that they will win.

We should be keeping an eye on Haggland's fitness. If he cannot go it will hurt them.

I really wish my SeatGeek account wasn't locked out and their chatbot didn't blow goat balls.

FYI, according to my SeatGeek account, Cincy is planning an orange-out for the game.

So, gold for the traveling fans?

If anyone has issues with SeatGeek, reach out to them on X. That's the only way to get support, apparently.

That said, I'll be joining the 226 Crew. LFG!
