All basketball courts must be retrofitted as dual use futsal courts

I don't think this level of ridicule is merited. While I don't agree with Olo2317 that futsal courts are the magic bullet that will turn the United States into a soccer power, I do think they are a worthwhile place for developing ball skills (especially if adults stay out the way and let the kids run the games).

Conversion payment issues aside that dual setup rather messes with the basketball aesthetic, which is more built-in to U.S. sports culture than futsal will ever be. Might as well ask them to throw skate ramps and rails on the b-ball court as well.

I got an e-mail about a place near me with a winter futsal league for ages U-8 to U-12. Although it doesn't affect me, it's nice to see more places offering futsal. That doesn't relate to the topic of building more futsal courts, but I figured what I'm saying wasn't worth making a new topic for.
