They occasionally will have tryouts at one location. I'm not sure where or when. Try going to the Morale, Welfare and Recreation office on your base. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

From what i rememebr from my playing days, every post should have their own team that competes and they invite players from teams to tryouts, which used to be at ft. eustis in Va...that might have all chagned....

I was on the base team at myrtle beach when it was an active base. We played the All marine team right before the armed forces championship. Their coach wanted to make his final cuts and used our team to get a final look at his players. Their coach used to play for the philadelphia atoms.
They were one of the best teams i have ever played against. Thought for sure they would do well in the tourney. I went to cherry point to watch the games. The Marines got their butts kicked by the Navy and Air force. Lost to the Army but it was pretty close like 4-2. The Air force and navy teams dominated and could have beaten some good college programs. There is tough competion to get on the all service teams. Two of my teammates were invited, one was a 3 time all state player from NY, the other a JUCO all american,,,,they were both cut. Good luck to you, hope you do well.
