You missed the KC/Dallas trade with Thomas, Talley, and Quill.

Its also hard to say who will start when you don't know the coach's formation.

    we will see

I hope you're a right about Salyer but it's not certain that he will make Dallas' final roster. He was a developmental player last season and it doesn't look like there's room for him this year so he'll had to make the 18 man roster. He's a Terp so hopefully it will work out for him.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Donovan will be the starting forward along with either DeRosario or Ching, assuming Ching is healthy (depending on whether they want more speed or more height/muscle, respectively). Russell will play as an outside midfielder, since that's his natural position (most likely on the left side opposite Mullan).

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Also, I'm not so sure about Robinson on the outside since he's much more of a central defender. It'll still be either Waibel or Ronér (whom you forgot to list) in the right-back spot.

Yeah, I got doubts on McCarty starting...ever. Hell, is he even going to make the final roster? Well, we might keep him around to take out a few players like Adu, Convey, etc.

    Hmm.

    Levesque still plays for SJ??

Franchino doesn't play in the middle, he plays on the wing. Switch Ralston with Kamler, and Kante with Franchino, then Kante with Llamosa and Franchino with Leonard and you got yourself a fairly close projected lineup of the Revs.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp Yep, he's still on the roster.

&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp I've just noticed that Ronér was listed, albeit out-of-position as a midfielder. Also, Corrales could very well play either in the midfield or (if needed) in defense.

    Re: we will see

Clarke appears to favor him and unless they want to slide Jolley over to fullback (unlikely) there really isn't another option currently on the roster.

Wizards hardly ever play a 4-4-2....

    Meola
    Conrad-Garcia-Burciaga
    Armstrong-Zavagnin-Gutierrez (or Gomez)
    Preki-Klein
    Wolff-Simutenkov

This is basically how we finished last year. Preki, Klein and Simu play very free roles. Wolff/Wolffs replacement once he gets hurt again plays off the free players. The back six lock down the fortress and two guys push up the wings to provide crosses. This formation was the one that gave the Wizards a push late last season and got us 7 minutes away from the Cup. I'd say we'll stick with something similar.

    With regard to United

I would view the following as more likely:

    Rimando (Warren)
Reyes Petke Nelson Prideaux (Namoff Stokes K.Ara)
Olsen Convey Kovalenko Stewart (Quintanilla Perea Carroll)
    Adu Quaranta (Cerritos Eskadarian Thiago)

Mostly it would be unusual, at least, to see Olsen (if healthy) as well as the league's most expensive player on the bench. It would also be strange to see Reyes in the middle when he can do so much damage running up the wing from the back. I would also not be surprised if Tino resurrects his career under Nowak.

No way in hell Olsen is on the bench when healthy. He was the main reason the team played better after the middle of the season and then took a nose dive the moment he was injured again.

Olsen will start on the right wing, or the left wing if
Stewart or another is a right sided player. I expect Quintanilla to be benched or traded.

Convey will be the central mid.

Re: Re: All 10 teams,Starting 11, your thoughts

What he said, with the exception that I don't expect Leonard to start over Franchino and I expect Joe Max to get the nod over Noonan.

    Brown
    Heaps Pierce Llamosa Franchino
    Ralston Cancela Joseph Kamler
    JMMoore Twellman

I'd bet that this will be the starting line up on day one, but I'd also bet that some of the second stringers (ie Baker and Leonard) will break through to the starting line up before the end of the season.

    Spencer Roberts (Carrieri)

Mastroeni is moving to the back line since the Rapids have more experienced options in the middle and need help in the back. Hart is gone. Blake is gone. Schmidt is gone. I think if Zizi is healthy he will start over CC. We are hopeful that Powell will be able to start the season healthy and will earn a starting spot. In addition there is a De la Torre in camp, another midfielder. The above should be a more up to date lineup.

A question with National team implications:

I know Kotschau is on the left and Borchers is in the center, who is slated for right back, Mastroeni or Jeff Stewart? If Pablo is going to be playing right back all year, it sure as hell is an experiment worth following for Nats fans.

I think the Rapids are going to play him in the middle with Stewart on the right but we'll have to see. As with many other National players he will probably not play the same position when he is in camp with the full nats. Again, we'll have to wait and see.
