    Sixth paragraph down:

    * Lance Henriksen has been cast in ALIEN VS. PREDATOR for Fox and director Paul W.S. Anderson. He'll play a billionaire industrialist who finances an expedition to the Antarctic to uncover an ancient pyramid and insists on joining the scientists on the journey. When they arrive, they discover two alien races engaged in the ultimate battle. The script was written by Anderson and Shane Salerno and the project begins shooting in late October in Prague.

How about former governer Jesse Ventura and soon-to-be former governor Arnold Schwarzenegger? It won't be the same without them.

Maybe Sly Stallone can become the leader of Nevada and invite the Kalifornia National Guard to invade.

It's about time this damn thing is being made. Enough of the psuedo-intellectual BS like "Star Wars" and "Lord of the Rings." Let's get back to some real science-fiction and fantasy, instead of those pieces of supercilious nonsense.

Hey, remember the last good movie that was based on a video game? Exactly, because there's never been one. And this idiot Anderson is behind a couple of those gems: Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil.

I understand what you're saying, but let me add that the Alien and Predator franchises began as film franchises and not video games. I think they're different than the examples you give.

Yeah, it's an opportunity to kill both viable film franchises with one badly directed movie.

No, it's a chance to revive them. Alien has been dead for the last two pictures. Predator 2 wasn't exactly great either, which is probably why there hasn't been a number three in all these years.
