Fortunately, the real Brad Davis returned last night. It is everyone's responsibility to watch for flying saucers so that the body stealers don't return. If Davis plays like he did last night I feel pretty good about this team. The left side had been a dead zone all year but Davis will open up space for Ronnie and Eddie if with that form.
It was great to see Davis have his "breakout" game that I had been hoping for all season. Hopefully he and the team can build momentum and carry it on for the second half of the season.
A lot of people said he just needed to net a goal and his confidence would go up, opening the floodgates on more goals. I hope that's the case...I tend to think so...either way, we shall soon see.
Yea, I had just about given up on him for this year, but this game gives hope he will be the left mid we need. The weather was cooler hmmmm.
I saw it leave! It was the moment he actually got a LUCKY bounce of a DC player on his first goal. I immediately dropped Twellman and added Davis back to my MFLS team.
Uhm - it was against DC - hell a DC team that fielded a PDL player. Don't get your hopes up. We made Alejandro Moreno look like Pele for a night
Yep... I'm sure you have been waiting ol' chap. Hopefully the momentum will carry... to paraphrase Mudpoet,... confidence and the floodgates to follow.
I'll eat my crow. It was a hell of a night for Brad. I couldn't believe the top spin on that deflection. Now, can we get a few more, please, Mr. Davis? We've missed you!
Looks like the Alien made the body switch right here... the guy with the big moustache will not be scoring for a while
Don't tempt him. It took a while for that to load with the cable modem next time with his bigger one it may lock down everyone on the Burn Board.
You can't see the moustache unless the picture is blown up. Seriously, I apologize for the large pic. Sometimes I forget that normal sized pictures on a 21 inch monitor at 1600x1200 are hell for everybody else.
Don't. Ever move one of those things? It's not fun. I work in an engineering firm, and until the past year, I was buying 21-22" monitors for our cad stations. Not fun to move someone. Now we buy LCDs, but man, I am looking forward to the day when I unload the last 21" tube. :|
Thats the Rapids backup keeper that played in the USOC game last week. He's still nursing that "injury" he sustained in the game. You know the one that immediately followed the second goal he let in. I had a chat with the Crapids team doctor after the game he told me what the problem was....but I don't understand latin. Does anyone know what "Egois Bruisius" means??
