i think i speak for all of us when i say thank you. from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. i hope its just COMPOSED by lalas and not also played by him. what a way to cheapen the experience. to have one of the guys who is slated to play perform before the game.
John Tesh?! Tell me you did not just say that! We will never hit the bigtime until we get Ya.... Ooops... sorry, I had a Joe Pakovits moment. It passed.
I've heard his stuff and it's suprisingly not that bad. I don't know if I've heard what is going to be going on today though. Oh dear, I just admitted Alexi Lalas was an ok musician. I need to stop living in LA.
You know, I talked to him about this after the 2001 MLS Cup. He's just happy he got a chance to make a record, and that people (at the time) from all over the world would still occasionally download his songs off of Napster. He doesn't care so much about the album running for the cut-out bins. After that conversation, I can't really knock his singing "career." And you can't knock mine, since none of you came out to hear me last night. Bastards. Later, COZ
Hey, I gotta do what I can. Suddenly, this shameless promotion has sort of become my livelihood... And seeing as how this Lalas thing was planned, I think we all need to thank South Carolina for bringing in another pitcher with two outs in the the bottom of the ninth and a ten-run lead, because the resulting delay seemed to kick Alexi's song off the broadcast.
