''Sono orgoglioso di essere l'unico allenatore ad aver vinto due Champions in due continenti diversi. Dedico la vittoria della Champions asiatica alla mia famiglia e a Alex Del Piero, un grandissimo campione, un onore averlo avuto come mio giocatore'', ecco Marcello Lippi subito dopo il trionfo.

The way those first two fall on top of each other was keystone kops all the way, but ADP did make a nice quick turn on them, and the stepovers were rather deft... actually, several of his goals down under had much worse defending than this, he really crafted this one with good skill.

It's called a payday, they're going to pay him a lot of money for playing for 5 months or so. Then off to MLS.

He will get his legs broken. If the Quakes have foreigners still at the top of their game at age 30-32 who keep getting injured, I can't see how ADP will last at all. Even GK Carlo Cudicini got beat last year in LA at 40 because he was too slow with his reactions and Nesta was another one who couldn't really hang at 37/38. Now I hear DiVaio is the next casualty to go at 37. I don't see how ADP will be able to play at 40 years of age. He may have a few flashes here and there but you know there just is no stopping father time.
