    Story here.

Alecko set up the tying goal, and put his penalty away in the tiebreaker.

USA advance to meet Portugal in the tournament final after beating Russia 4-1 in PKs after a 1-1 draw.

Nice win with pretty much none of our true starting team out there.

    I am SOOOOO ashamed.

I blame it all on my dad. He lives in northern Virginia.

Also want to give some love to our new backup 'keep, Doug Warren, who is on this tour and is the leading candidate to back-up DJ Countess on the Olympic team.

Also, besides the 4 on this trip, Bobby Convey and Santino Quaranta are part of this pool. (Amazingly, even though the other 4 are rookies, Bobby and Tino are younger). If Mooch Myernick calls up a bunch of them for the Pan-Am Games this summer, we could be in a world of hurt, depth wise.
