...played Mexico tonight in Guadalajara. He scored the game winning goal in the 65th minute. Final score US 3 - 1 Mexico.

United States' Alecko Eskandarian, front, battles for the ball against Mexico's Cosme Castro as teammate Landon Donovan, right looks on during the first half of their under 23 friendly match.

3rd goal was a 70 yard chip by David Testo of the Richmond Kickers. In stoppage time, Mexico's goalie had moved up front to try to get the tying goal. Ball ws cleared to Testo and he blasted it from the deep in the defensive end.

Maybe sornum is right, get this guy up fot the game Saturday!! :D

Wasn't Testo drafted by somebody this year?

He played at UNC if I remember correctly.

Hopefully Alecko will bring that scoring form home this weekend.

He did play for UNC but I don't see him on the MLS draft list. Probably was in camp somewhere as he has been in the U20 and U23 pool.

He will, but Ray probably won't bring him on until the 89th minute.

As was already mentioned, he did indeed play for UNC last year. He was not drafted, however, which kinda surprised me as he was almost as frequently named ACC player of the week as Alecko. I guess not being P-40 really hurt his desirablity in the eyes of MLS coaches.
