My uncle just faxed me an article from an Italian newspaper saying my cousin, who plays for Serie B outfit Lecce, was just called up to the U21 Italian Nats....and in a little box at the bottem of the article, it said Roy Hudson was in town talking to his teammate, Argentinian Aldo Osorio from Lecce in Italy's Serie B.

Aldo is a 28 year old striker

Just thought you guys would like to know....

    Now that is a source!

What's the over-under on how long it takes Bergin or Goff to run with this name? (And Steve, I'm sorry if you take offense at being mentioned in the same sentence as Bergin.)

Still, this is why I come to BS.

Where else could one get a rumor by such means?

    Thanks Metro.

Moved to Lecce Serie A July of 2000, scored 2 goals in 19 games, went on loan to Crotone from January to June 2002. This season, he came back from his loan stint to a relegated Lecce who is now in Serie B.

16 goals in two seasons in Argentina....not bad...

Another thing....the dude has a funky middle name....Aldo Arcangel Osorio....so you guys can have El Diablo and the Arcangel....pretty anti-christian squad.....

What's unChristian about archangels? My memory of the Book of Common Prayer includes "...and with angels and archangels and all the company of Heaven..."

    Archangels rock! :)

Wasn't the Archangel Michael the guardian of heaven who cast out Lucifer?

I'd say that bodes ill for not only our resident devil in MF, but also for a certain BS poster (and I mean that literally ;) ) from Baltimore.

Archangel Michael did cast Lucifer out of heaven.

That's alright, I likes to partay.

    ;)

Maybe if this arcangel Osorio shows up and scores buckets of goals he will "cast out" my blues over missing the playoffs for three years running.
